Jelly scrolling happened to OnePlus 5

2017-07-07 11:08:16 | Samsung Galaxy S8

Why this happened

At the beginning, some people think this issue may be caused by the manufacturing defect, Quality Assurance mishap, or software bug, but the OnePlus Company claim this problem is normal:

The OnePlus 5 uses the same level of high-quality components as all OnePlus devices, including the AMOLED display. We’ve received feedback from a small number of users saying that at times they notice a subtle visual effect when scrolling. This is normal and there’s no variance in screens between devices.

There is not any certain reason about this issue until now. The generally accepted reason in the XDA forum is that the OnePlus 5 displayis mounted upside down. Some users point out that when holding any other brand smartphone upside down then they can see the same jelly scrolling effect on those devices, so they think the display in OnePlus 5 is mounted incorrectly.

XDA reports that OnePlus 5's display matrix is inverted when compared to that of the OnePlus 3T, also there is a hardware evidence compared with the OnePlus 3T, from the picture below we can see the OnePlus 5's panel has been mounted upside down.

Above all, we can see this is a deliberate decision by OnePlus Company to get enough space for dual camera setup.

What should we do

No matter what causes this issue, we all hope the OnePlus Company can fix this issue as soon as possible, every consumer should be treated fairly. If you have encountered this issue and don’t care about it, you can still use it because OnePlus 5 is very cost-effective. If you can’t stand it, you can return it within 15 days.

Moto E4 Plus Will Be a Flipkart Exclusive

2017-07-07 10:13:04 | Samsung Galaxy S8

Moto India has been rolling out teasers ahead of the launch of the Moto E4 Plus sony parts on July 12 in the country, and now the company has announced that the smartphone will be a Flipkart exclusive. The smartphone’s big highlight is its 5000mAh battery.

Moto E4 Plus Will Be a Flipkart Exclusive, E-Commerce Site Teases

Flipkart has now listed the Moto E4 Plus advert on its website, and Moto India has also tweeted the partnership with the e-commerce site for the launch of the smartphone. The unveiling will be a 12pm IST this coming Wednesday.

The price in India and availability details of the smartphone should be announced at the same event. The Moto E4 was reportedly made available offline in India at Rs. 8,999 earlier this week, so the Moto E4 Plus price in India would likely be higher than that. To recall, the Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus were both launched globally in June and $179.99 (roughly Rs. 11,600) respectively.

Moto E4 Plus specifications

The Moto E4 Plus has a slightly bigger 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 427 SoC in the US, and MediaTek MTK6737M chipset outside of North America. Apart from the 2GB/ 16GB variant, it has an additional 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant as well.

The rear camera is bumped up to 13-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and single-LED flash support. The biggest USP of the Moto E4 Plus is a 5000mAh non-removable battery that supports fast charging as well. The dimensions measure at 155x77.5x9.55mm, and the sony replacement parts weighs 181 grams. In the US, the Moto E4 Plus will be available in Iron Grey and Fine Gold colour options. All the other specifications are identical to the Moto E4.

Global version of Nokia 6 will has no notification LED

2017-07-06 10:39:45 | Samsung Galaxy S8

Here is something that might be of interest to Nokia fans anxious to get their hands on the latest htc parts introduced by HMD Global earlier this year. Nokia 6, the first handset HMD made available on the market (China only), will have different global variants that are supposed to hit the shelves in early August.

HMD decides to remove the notification LED from the global version of Nokia 6

Even in China, two Nokia 6 models are available for purchase, but they're not different when it comes to hardware. The only difference between the TA-1000 and TA-1003 versions is the fact that the latter comes with Google services, whereas the former doesn't.

However, when it comes to the global version, there are plenty of differences that we'll most likely talk about as soon as they arrive on the market. Until then, here is one that we didn't know about, but was recently confirmed by HMD.

It appears that the global version of Nokia 6 will not come with the notification LED that's included in the Chinese models. Neither of the four Nokia 6 models (TA-1033, TA-1039, TA-1021, TA-1025) will have this feature added.

HMD said they had taken the decision to remove the notification LED after doing some research, which means that customers outside China might not be so attached to this feature.

When it comes to your inquiry about the removal of LED from the global version, please be aware that in regards to global markets, due to specific research, a decision has been made about the removal of the LED.

The notification LED usually makes things easier for someone that is using different communication channels (SMS, messaging apps, email, phone, etc.). That LED would have helped you avoid checking the htc replacement parts every 5 minutes to make sure you haven't received any messages that you must reply. Still, the lack of a notification LED shouldn't be such a deal-breaker for Nokia fans.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will come soon

2017-07-05 10:44:52 | Samsung Galaxy S8

Appearing with the model number SM-G892A, a diagram of the Galaxy S8 Active has appeared at the FCC, suggesting the pumped up version of the Galaxy S8 will be ready for a release really soon.

The diagram only shows the rear of the Galaxy S8 Active, but it confirms a few details we’ve already gleaned from previous leaks, like its nice thick bezel and sturdy bumpers to protect the sony parts from knocks and drops. There’s also a fingerprint scanner next to the camera, just like its flagship predecessor – a feature that has divided opinion among Galaxy S8 users.

As well as its tough outer casing, the Galaxy S8 Active will carry IP68 water-resistance, meaning you should be able to submerge it in almost 5 feet over water for up to 30 minutes without damaging the sony replacement parts .

We’re also pretty sure it will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset, an oca-core CPU and Adreno 540 GPU. It will come with Android 7.1 pre-installed and 4GB of RAM.

That’s it for now, but we’re sure this isn’t the last we’ll be hearing about the Galaxy S8 Active in the coming weeks.
