Officials in the Indian state of West Bengal say that at least 13 people have been killed in a storm that hit its northern regions.
More than 2,000 houses were also destroyed, they say.
The worst damage was reported from the town of Alipurduar, bordering Bhutan, where at least 800 houses collapsed in the storm.
Power supplies and other services have also been affected. The authorities say rescue work is underway.
