FILTHY RICH - BIOGRAPHY.

Filthy Rich were formed in November 1986 from the ashes of Trident, which existed from 1981 to 1986. The band is a 3-piece and play a tight, punchy, modern rock set, with an occassional guesting keyboard player, and consists of the fllowing members:-

John Owen - Lead Gtr/Lead Vocals
David Lewis - Bass/Vocals
Wyn Roberts - Drums/Vocals

John Owen;
                   was the founder member of Trident way back in 1981 and is the main songwriter of the outfit. Born in Llandudno, N. Wales - main influences R. Blackmore, G. Moore, Eddie Van Halen and Sammy Hager.

David Lewis;
                   played in the latter days of Trident, and is now a strong figure in the band. Born in Bournemouth, England - Dave's influences are Zeppelin, Queen, Bon Jovi and basically anything good.

Wyn Roberts;
                    also joined Trident towards their final days and is now the powerhouse in the Rhythm section of Filthy Rich. Born in Colwyn Bay, N. Wales - his influences are Kiss, Motley Crew and Dio.
