相方の肩にとまって我が家に来た
「瑠璃星かみきり」です。
あまりの美しい青に唸ってしまいました。
一口で表現出来ない複雑な色です。
調べてみた名前も素敵です。
It came to us settling on my partner's shoulder.
This is " Ruri-Boshi Long-horned beetle"
( scientific name....Rosalia batesi )
Its beautiful azure rendered us speechless.
I can't find the good word to describe the color.
On examination in an insect guide, it has the charming name.
(Ruri means lapis lazuli, Boshi means star )
１９８６年には日本でも記念切手に使われたそうです。
他にはポーランドとカンボジアで切手になっています。
嫌われる虫もいれば この虫のように丁寧に
扱われるのもいて 虫も大変です。
I knew that three countries' commemorative stamps featured it...
Poland(1961),Japan (1986 ), and Cambodia(1998).
There are such welcome insects and
overwise in the world.
They seem to have a hard time like us
human beings.
ちなみに 裏も表も散々観賞して 撮影した後
庭に放してやりました。
彼（？）は 気を悪くしたかも知れません.......
By the way, after studing back to front
and taking pictures,we let it go in the yard.
He(or she?)might get hurt.
