　フェニキア人のフレバス、死んで二週間、
　鴎の鳴き声も、また深海のうねりも
　商売の損得も忘れてしまった。
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　海底の流れは
　ひそひそと死骸をバラバラにした。
　浮き沈みして遂に渦へ巻き込まれるまで
　老いの日若き日のことなど次から次へと
　彼は憶い起した。
　　　　　　　　キリスト教徒もユダヤ人でも
　舵をとり風上へ向く者は誰でも
　かつては美男で人なみに背も高かった
　フレバスのことを考えよ。
