メンディアは全身の力を集めた。
すると、体が光だし。
やがて、白光の球になり。
「ピュー」と光の玉は空高く舞い上がった。
エジェは悔しがった。

エジェも力を込め青光の玉となり空に飛び出した。
裕也は、さらに驚いた。
「え。すごい。」
二人は教会の上空を一周し、裕也の前に降り立った。
「二人とも凄（すご）い、だが、俺は飛べないぜ。」
裕也は問題点をあげた。
だが、メンディアは喜んでつづきを話す。
「私は、血の関係を結んだとき体が宙に浮く感覚がしたの。
それで、家に帰ってから、
その感覚を思い出していたら、
自分が光の玉になっているのに気づいたの。
飛べるのかなぁて半信半疑で、
家の外を思い浮かべたら、
部屋をでて外を飛んでた。
うふ。うれしくて飛び上がった。」
エジェはふくれて言った。
「私は、もともと飛べたよ」
メンディアは続けて言う。
「そう。まだ、続きがあるの。
友達も飛べないかと思って、
友達もやって見たけど、無理でした。
だけど、私は友達の手をもって、
光になるのをイメージして、
飛び出したら、
なんと友達も飛べたのよ。
裕也も私と手をつなげば飛べるよ。」
メンディアは裕也の手を握っていた。
「準備が出来てない」裕也は、慌てた。
「私のこころの準備をするまで少し待って」と言う間もなく。
二人は空に飛び出した。
「ほんとに飛べた。」
「でしょ。」
エジェも後を追って飛んでくる。
「裕也。これで私たち行けるね。」
裕也。次元移動してみて。」
三人は手を取ってつないだ。
エジェは、私も参加するとばかり、目的地を言う。
「じゃあ 町外れの公園」
裕也は、合図した。
「行くよ」
裕也は町外れの公園の林の影をイメージした。
（人目がつかないように）
三人の見ていた情景が林にかわる。
そして、慌（あわ）てて手を離し降り立った。
メンディアは、最後に言う。
「後は、いつ決行するかだね。」
