Asian Culture Center 2011 Summer Japanese classes

Hi all,
Here is the Japanese class schedule in Summer 2011 semester.
 
Japanese Basic Class taught by Ryoko begins May 10 Tuesday. The class will be held every Tuesday 5:10-6:10pm during only Summer I session.   
Japanese Intermediate Class taught by Takako begins May 12 Thursday. The class will be held every Thursday 5:10-6:10pm during  Summer I and II sessions.

I am offering the Japanese Intermediate Class this spring at the ACC.  Please come to my class and enjoy learning Japanese!

  Japanese Intermediate Class :
This is a class for beginners who have learned some basics of Japanese (e.g. reading and writing of hiraganas and katakanas, some basic sentence patterns and particles, etc.), and the class uses a textbook titled "Genki I" (teacher will email copies in pdf format for printing).

Note that this is a continued class from the last semester, but it is not restricted to the students from the last semester, of course, but open to anyone who is more or less at the same level in Japanese learning.

Meets every Thursday Evenings at 5:15-6:15pm
The first day: January 27

Besides my class, the ACC is offering three Japanese classes.

1)        Japanese Beginner I
Come and join us to learn the basics of Japanese. No previous knowledge of Japanese is necessary. You will start from writing hiragana and katakana, the basics of grammar, and reading. Then we will quickly move into beginning conversation practice. The class uses a textbook titled "Genki I" (teacher will email copies in pdf format for printing).Meets every Monday from 6:20-7:20 pm. Teacher: Saki Kobayashi. Begins 1/24/11.

2)        Japanese Beginners II
No previous knowledge of Japanese is necessary. After the teacher will review hiragana and katakana, you will start from the basics of grammar. Then we will quickly move into beginning conversation practice. The class uses a textbook titled "Genki I" (teacher will email copies in pdf format for printing). Time: Every Tuesday at 5:15-6:15pm. Teacher: Ryoko Kijimoto. Begins 1/25/11.

3)        Japanese Beginner I
This is a class for beginners who have never learned basics of Japanese. No previous knowledge of Japanese is necessary. You will start from writing hiragana and katakana, the basics of grammar, and reading. Then we will quickly move into beginning conversation practice. The class uses a textbook titled "Genki I" (teacher will email copies in pdf format for printing). Meets every Wednesday from 6:20-7:20 pm Teacher: Haruka Suzuki. Begins 1/26/11.

Please check them, and start or continue learning Japanese!

2)        Japanese Beginner & Intermediate Combined:
    Meets every Wednesday from 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. Teacher: Yoshino

All classes will begin during the week of September 13.  Please check them, and start or continue learning Japanese!
