山から里へ：動物たちの心こもる特製団子

春の訪れと共に、農耕の神様が里へ仕事に向かう日がやってきました。山の動物たちは神様を元気に送り出すために、独自の特技を活かした特製団子を作ることにしました。

リスのリッキーは、天候や土壌を読む力を応援する「未来を予測！木の実と五穀の知恵団子」を用意しました。木の実や五穀を集め、コンパスの形に並べた団子は、自然の恵みを凝縮しています。「これがあれば、神様も農作業がうまくいくはず！」とリッキーは自信満々です。

ウサギのウーちゃんは、作物の成長を促す力を表す「成長を促進！根菜たっぷり元気団子」を作りました。ニンジンや大根、ゴボウを練り込み、作物の成長をイメージした色合いを表現。「この団子で、里の作物もすくすく育ちますように！」とウーちゃんはにっこり。

クマのクーちゃんは、協力と力強さを象徴する「力を合わせる！ハチミツと木の実の協力団子」を仕上げました。蜂蜜たっぷりの団子は、みんなの手形を模した形です。「みんなの力が合わされば、豊作間違いなし！」とクーちゃんは力強く語ります。

今日3月16日は、十六団子の日。神様は団子を受け取り、笑顔で山を後にし、動物たちも楽しい一日になりました。



From the Mountain to the Village: Special Dumplings with Love


Spring had arrived, and it was time for the Farming God to journey down to the village to begin work. The animals of the mountain wanted to send the God off with their very best wishes. So, they decided to make special dumplings using their unique talents.

Ricky the Squirrel made "Wisdom Dumplings with Nuts and Grains." These dumplings, shaped like a compass, were made from nuts and grains he had gathered. "With these, the God will know how to predict the weather and take care of the soil!" said Ricky proudly.

Woo the Rabbit created "Energy Dumplings Full of Root Vegetables." She mixed carrots, radishes, and burdock roots to make colorful dumplings that symbolized the growth of plants. "These will help crops in the village grow big and strong!" said Woo with a big smile.

Koo the Bear made "Cooperation Dumplings with Honey and Nuts." He shaped his dumplings into the pattern of handprints and added lots of honey. "Together, everyone’s strength will bring a great harvest!" said Koo boldly.

Today, March 16th, was the Day of the Sixteen Dumplings. The Farming God accepted the dumplings with a warm smile and began the journey down the mountain. The animals waved goodbye and celebrated a happy day together.
