動物たちの植物探究ショー ～ユーモアと知識の饗宴～

リスのリッキー、ウサギのウーちゃん、クマのクーちゃんは、植物についてとても詳しいです。

リッキーは、「貯食植物学とくるみ鑑定ショー！」と声高らかに宣言しました。重さや香り、殻の模様という栄養価シグナルを鋭く感知し、「このくるみこそ、冬眠前の最良のエネルギー補給だ」と堂々と発表しました。長年の修練が生んだ確かな感性がうかがえます。

ウーちゃんは、「草食生態植物学と安全草見分け隊！」と、澄んだ声で力説しました。風に乗って漂う微細な化学物質で、植物が発するSOSを見事にキャッチ。「この草は安全、ここは危険──おいしいごはんを守る秘訣だよ」と、鋭い嗅覚を駆使して明快に語ります。

クーちゃんは、「季節移動植物学とクマの食卓大公開！」を宣言し、ゆったりとした声で発表しました。花の開花時期や果実の熟度を丹念に観察し、食料ルートを緻密に予測。「春夏秋冬、いつでも最高のごはんが待っている」と、大地のリズムを感じ取る自称『グルメ』としての風格を示します。

今日4月24日は、牧野富太郎にちなんだ植物学の日。動物たちはそれぞれの発表を通して、知識とユーモアが交じり合った一日を楽しく過ごしました。



Animal Plant Exploration Show – A Feast of Fun and Knowledge 


Squirrel Ricky, Rabbit Woo-chan, and Bear Koo-chan know a lot about plants.

Ricky loudly declared, “Stored-food Botany and Walnut Detective Show!” He sensed little signals from the walnuts—their weight, smell, and shell patterns—that told him about their nutrition. With excitement, he announced, “This walnut is the very best energy food before winter sleep!” His keen senses, built through many years of practice, clearly shone through.

Woo-chan cheerfully explained, “Herbivore Ecology Botany and Safe Grass Spotting Squad!” Using her sharp nose, she caught tiny chemical signals drifting on the wind—tiny SOS messages from the plants. “This grass is safe, and that one is dangerous—it’s the secret to finding delicious food!” she declared clearly.

Koo-chan, with a relaxed voice, proclaimed, “Seasonal Migration Botany and Bear’s Food Table Reveal!” He carefully observed when flowers bloomed and fruits ripened to predict the best food routes. “In every season, the best food is waiting!” he said proudly, showing off his style as a self-proclaimed ‘gourmet’ who can truly feel the rhythm of nature.

Today, April 24 is Plant Science Day in honor of Tomitaro Makino. Through their presentations, all the animals enjoyed a day filled with knowledge and laughter.
