1. what was the main burden of this conference?
this conference focuses on the main contents of the Lord's recovery.
first: the church ground of oneness. if we want to be today's overcomers, we must maintain the ground of oneness. in the recovery, we elevate Christ and Christ alone.
second: the church as the organic Body of Christ- the fullness of the One who fills all in all. the church, as the Body of Christ, is organic, is Christ's fullness, is the issue of the divine dispensing.
third: the All-incluseve Christ is the mystery of God. Christ is both God and man, and He is the mystery of God. Christ is the Firstborn in both the old creation and the new creation, so that He can have the first place, the preeminence in the whole universe. this Christ is the definition, the explanation, and the expression of God.
fourth: the life-giving Spirit, and Compound Spirit, and the divine life in Christ. Christ has become the life-giving Spirit. this Spirit is the consummation of the processed and consummated Triune God, and is typified by the compound ointment in Exodus 30. the life of the Triune God, the eternal life is embodied in Christ.
fifth: the divine revelation of the word of God. the Lord's recovery is different from all the other Christian works. we care for the heart desire of God, so God has shown us the divine revelation conveyed in the Bible. there are three lines of truth in the divine revelation in the Word of God: the central line, the line of supplemental points, and the leaves and the branches. we need to have a proper understanding of five crucial truths in the revelation of the word of God, which are God's economy, God's dispensing, the Divine Trinity, Jesus is the complete God and a perfect man, and the mingling of divine element and human element.
2. wha particular points of truth were you enlightened by?
the Lord has given us the possession of the oneness of the Spirit. the oneness is not that we try to get or work out. the oneness is a Person, the Triune God, and this oneness has been given to us when we believed into Lord Jesus. so we just need to keep and maintain what we have been given. in order to keep the oneness, we need to move out of ourselves. there are problems in the church life, because we are still in ourselves. in our fallen human nature, we are divisive, because the poison of Satan has been injected into us. we have to be in spirit, out of ourselves, to guard the oneness.
the overcomers are not super spiritual giants. the overcomers are just normal Christians, because God desires all His believers to be overcomers. the recovery is not that the Lord introduced some new things. the Lord is now bring the church to the original status, to the original standard. we stay in Christ, keep the normal standard, if we fail, then just repent and be restored back to the normality, then we will overcome.
the meaning of "finish the course" is to be faithful to what the Lord has given to us. we are all slaves of the Lord, and our Master has put something into our hands. so we need to be faithful to what He has entrusted us. if we are faithful to the end of our life, we will finish the course the Lord has ordained for us.
Christ is the delight of God, the Beloved of God. God's intention is to make us all the same as Christ, as His many sons. if we allow Christ to be wrought into our being, to be our life and our everything, then in the future, Christ in us will be the hope of glory, and we will become the expression of God.
3. how can these points be applied in your daily living?
we need to hold to the central lines, but be general concerning the supplemental lines, the leaves and the branches. we receive all the believers according to the central line, but we don't fight for the supplemental practices. on the Lord's table, I was serving the ushering. and there was one sister coming to the Lord's table with her pet dog in the handbag. immediately, I was condemning this sister in my heart, "how dare you carry the pet here. this is the Lord's table meeting. will you also give the dog the bread and wine?" but this message is really a timely word. we don't judge or condemn the believers. rather we receive all the believers for God has already received them in Christ. we don't make an issue on all the items of the supplemental line, or the leaves and the branches.
in the church life, there is no room for the self, for the concepts or opinions. there is only room for Christ, for Christ is all and in all. only Christ is acceptable to God. if we don't move out of ourselves, we will cause problems in the church, even cause divisiveness. how can we move out of ourselves? the only way is to be in the spirit. in the spirit, we receive the dispensing of the Triune God. this dispensing will cause within our being a metabolic change, discharging all our old man, natural self, so that we will be reconstituted with Christ, and Christ will replace everything in our being. the more Christ we have been replaced with, the more we will be fit and built into the Body of Christ, the more we will express God.

actually I never thought that I would write another email before I go back to FTTH ( that is why there was no No 1, or sth like in last email). however, I feel that I need to write another email to tell you about the saints in Shanghai.
this week, one brother studying in Adelaide, Australia, who I met during field work, who also was at jubilee week, told me that his dad is working in Shanghai, and he said that I can join that home meeting. so I contacted his Dad brother Eric Lim, and joined their home meeting and Lord's table meeting. there are couples from Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, some young students, one sister from Mexico, who will go back next week, and one new brother from a country that I never heard :(, one family from the third largest city in Russia, quite close to Moscow. i
t is really good to hear their testimonies. there is one sister Jennifer, a FTTA graduate. she shared how she was gained by the Lord. it is really amazing. we can only praise the Lord for His marvelous and wonderful work. this sister received the Lord in London, baptised in Paris, and went to FTTA. she was quite open when a certain sister preached gospel to her in London. then because of family, she got closed and didn't meet with the saints. but the saints were still praying for her, and Jennifer met some other saints, when she was traveling in Paris. this time she told the saints that, she wanted to get baptised, but she asked for something special, such as, baptizing in the famous river in Paris (sorry, I forgot the name), or baptizing in the fountain near the Aifle tower (is that tower this name?). that was a great challenge to the saints. then one sister told Jennifer, "shall we pray, to see what the Lord wants us to do. if the Lord says to baptize in the river, then let's just go." after the prayer, Jennifer no more mentioned something special, and was baptised in the bathtube of one sister's house.
also, when I came to the home meeting, there is a sister Mia, who was just looking at the infomation of NZTC. she was quite interested in the training. I don't know why she was thinking FTTH. maybe it is the Lord's working. she asked me many questions about FTTH. I invited her to come for short-term, then visiting the churches in NZ. please remeber her in your prayers. I will keep checking with her.
also, there is one sister Zhang Xia, who will go to FTTA in August. she is worrying about her English. the saints here are praying for her. May the Lord's will be done in this sister. it is really wonderful to see so many young people "wasting" themselves on the Lord. may the Lord raise up more young people to respond to His calling, to cooperate with His heavenly ministry, for the fulfillment of His economy.

It has been two weeks since I came back to Shanghai. it is winter here, really cold. when our plane landed at Pudong international airport, it was 4:00 am, 4 degrees.
recently, I have realised clearly again, that I cannot live a Christian life. only Christ can be a Christian, and only Christ can be an overcomer. after one year's training, I was quite confident that I can maintain training schedule during my time in Shanghai. as we all know, Shanghai is really an evil city, which I sometime refers to as the "consummation of Egypt, Bebel, and Sodom". after I came back, I found that there are so many temptations which are drawing me away from just gazing upon the Lord. during the first week, I went out to meet all the family members and friends. I went out with a thought that I can preach the gospel to them. but it turned out to be just chatting and gossiping. then on Lord's Day, when I was sitting at the Lord's table, I realised that I have no morning revival this week at all. the Lord was asking me "where is your schedule? you said that you can maintain the schedule? where is your morning revival? where is your bible reading?" I can only say, "sorry Lord, I thought I can. but I cannot make it. " then the Lord was speaking, "yes, you cannot make it with your own. but did you forget that I am the indwelling Christ in your spirit." it is so easy for us to have confidence in ourselves, forgetting that the Lord wants to do everything for us. He just wants us to be helpless, to rely on Him, to allow Him to be our life, life supply and our everything. Praise our Lord, God of mercy. He is always willing to let us try and fail, willing to wait for us to come back to Him, willing to teach us to live because of Him.
my first YP meeting was with the students and young working saints in Shanghai. there are a few young couples open their homes near the universities for the young people. the content of this meeting was to number the Lord's blessings. there were six current sister trainees ( I was quite surprised that there is also a training centre in Shanghai, maybe not open but secret one?) I haven't had a chance to talk with them. hope next meeting I will fellowship with them. now in this area, there are three sisters' houses, and 2 brothers' houses. the rules in these houses are quite strict. they have morning revival, bible reading. and they go through life study of Exodus in the evening from Monday to Thursday. I heard some testimonies. some brothers left the house because of working places, and later came back. they are willing to pay the price to take 1-2 hours every morning to go to work, because they love to have such a corporate living with the brothers, to be perfected and have growth in life.

this has been a wedding season. everyone has been talking about "the wedding".....
anyhow, Christ is Victor. I really enjoyed today's morning revival. the Bible is a book of victory. Satan has already been defeated. and our destiny is to win the victory. the more Satan destroy the temple, the greater building the Lord will raise up. Satan's destroying is just to offer more opportunities for the Lord to display His multifarious wisdome. the enemy's victory is just the preparation for the Lord to gain further victory!!! Praise the Lord!
I have been reading life study of Exodus message 23. there is one point particularly touched me. Christ is our Passover, not only the passover lamb, but every aspect of passover. in the Old Testament, God passed over the children of Israel because of the blood. this passover was due to the sprinkled blood. however, today, for we, the New Testament believers, we are in Christ. today, we are in Christ, who has become our covering. the passover in Exodus was based on the blood. but our Passover is based on Chhrist. that is why the apostle Paul repeatedly says that we are in Christ.
I also enjoy the matter of burnt offerings from "Christ as the Reality" chapter 2. I used to think that our greatest problem with God is our sin. but the brother shared in this message that, we first need Christ to be our burnt offeriing, because our first problem with God is not a matter of trespasses, but a matteer of not being for God. even though we may have done nothing wrrong, we are still not for God. before we were saved, of course we are not for God. even after regeneration, we are still not absolutely for God. only Christ is the absolute one. we need Christ to be our burnt offering. we even don't need to try. the more we try, the more we arre unable to become ashes, to become nothing.
I began to join pacific islanders meeting (P.I. meeting) recently. this week, we began to pursue the book "Pure in Heart". although I read this book with North Shore high schoolers last year. when I was reading the message again, how come I feel like that I never read this book. I was touched, and warned again by the message. how we need to turn our heart to the Lord, not just some time, but always. our unturned heart is just the veil, hindering us to see the Lord. whenever the heart shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. how we need the Lord to help us to turn to Him, turn our whole being to Him. may the Lord have mercy on us, to grant us a simple heart just loving Him, just viewing Him.

I would like to share with you all some recent enjoyment from the training.
last week, we were having the God's economy class. I really appreciated that the brother shared 3 things for us to maximize the benefit in training. if any young people are considering joining the full time training, I strongly recommend them to take heed to these three things.
1. always say "Amen" to all the aspects of training. in my personal experience, it specifically means all the regulations. I just finished my character report for this semester, which requies me to go through the summary of my points received so far, and consider about it. I have to confess that I never say Amen to the regulations, especially "do not eat any food not provided by NZTC during meal time in weekdays. I am keeping add something to my breakfast to make it more tasty. I cannot understand why there is such a regulation in TC. but now by the Lord's mercy and enlightenment, I came to realize that this kind of behavior is contagenious, and will have negative effect, even distracting other trainees. the Lord gave me one verse, John 17:19 "and for their sake I sanctify Myself." even when the Lord was living on the earth, He sanctified Himself, restricted His conduct, so that His disciples would not be stumbled. we need to take the Lord Jesus as the pattern, to take heed to our conduct for the sake of others.
2. avoid natural relationship. it is so easy for us to develop such a natural relationship, because we like to be with those who are easy for us to get along. sometimes we may even think that these are the "companions" that the Lord has given us. all our fellowship, all our relationship, even all our love need to go through the Head.
3. exercise to pray in evey class. I need to confess, I seldom, even never pray in the classes, when the tutors ask us to have some corporate prayers. I alwasy think that there are already so many trainees who are good pray. it is enough to let them pray. and I just Amen. but when the brother required every trainee to pray, I have no other way except to pray. then I realised that that class was so different. I got more concentrated, more infused, and more enlightened.
at the end of last week, I went through certain thing which forced me to open to another sister. I am such a kind of person that I don't like to tell others too much about myself, especially not so good things. I think it is enough just to "complain" to the Lord. but in this matter, no matter how much I prayed to the Lord, i still could not let go. I walked in the gully with one sister, and I opened up to her. she didn't say much to me. she just shared her experience and we prayed together. then I got released. this also made me realise that we not only need open up to the Lord, fellowshiping with the Lord. we also need to open to the Body, fellowshipping with other members of the Body.
today, brother Ray talked to us about the year plan and training schedule for next year. there are quite afew changes, which enables the trainees to be involved more in children program. when I was looking at the schedule, it suddenly makes me feel a bit scared and worried, because I will become second year soon. and at the end of year, that will be my graduation day. oh Lord Jesus.............
please pray for me, for all the trainees. we need the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, and also the petition and prayer of the Body.

What was the main burden of this camp?
the vision of the world: we need to see some negative points, so that after graduation, we can know how to stand against the current tide of the world. the cure for all problems is the proper humanity of Jesus. we need to eat Jesus, in order to be humanly Jesus. the Lord has already given us a picture of the situation at the end of this age, so we need to be lovers of God.
the vision of the self: the self, all the opinions damage the church life. we need to be "Amen" people, with the Lord as the Amen within us. how can we be such Amen people? this is fulfilled by spending the riches that Christ has given to us.
the vision of the dwelling place of God: on the one hand, in divine and mystical realm, God's dwelling place is in spirit; on the other hand, in practical sense, God's dwelling place is in the city where the believers live. why God ordained "one church one city"? Why does God not allow us to choose for ourselves? why is oneness so important to God? first, the Triune God is oneness. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, these three wonderful persons are all in one. so, as His expression, the church should also have and keep such oneness. the way to keep in one, is in spirit and by cross.
the vision of consecration: after we all have seen God's economy, His heart desire is to dispense Himself into us, that He is building His unique dwelling place, that He is fulfilling the dream of Bethel, having seen all these visions, we must come to consecration. this is the natural progress, where everyone has to arrive.
the enlightenment I received
the only way to keep the oneness, is not from ourselves, but in spirit, by cross. the Triune God only has one unique name. He doesn't give us any other name. and He said clearly that "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truthfulness. " all God's building work is in spirit. in order to keep oneness, to remain in church life, to build up the Body of Christ, we must do everything in spirit. otherwise, our natural life and self can only damage even destroy the Body. how can we stay in spirit? how can we avoid anything from the old man, the natural life? the only way is to allow the cross to cross out everything not in spirit. we need to be willing to take the cross, to bear the cross, remain on the cross, by the resurrection power of Christ, which requires us to stay in spirit. this is the only way to nullify all our concepts, traditions, and opinions.
it is a great thing that, the Lord visited us in grace, we got saved, and we can give ourselves to the Lord. without the supply and sustain from the Lord, we will never be able to give ourselves to the Lord. our consecration is the result of the mercy, love and grace by the Lord, constantly given to us. the Lord has given us a simple way to voluntarily consecrate ourselves to the Lord, which is to lay our hands on His head, to identify us with what He has accomplished for us.
the application in daily life
the whole world is the evil system of Satan, which is totally against God. during the two years in the training, we are quite preserved by the training atmosphere. but after graduation, we will get into different localities. are we able to stand against the current tide, to be a proper testimony for the Lord. can we "do not be fashioned according to the age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind"? the answer is to eat the proper humanity of Jesus. Lord Jesus is the first God-man, complete God and perfect man. He has passed through all the processes, for us to eat, to drink and to enjoy Him. we are what we eat. the only way for us to become His duplication, many God-men, not to be affected by the evil tide, is to eat the humanity of Jesus. only by such eating, can we have the proper humanity. in this way, we will be able to protect us in the evil world, not to be influenced by the strong evil tide. in the local churches, we may meet some saints, far from our imagination. we need the proper humanity of Jesus to enable us to love them, to shepherd them, to help them.
we may do many outward things, may have very good practice, but God still has no dwelling place, for we are not doing in spirit. God's dwelling place is in spirit, and all His building work is in spirit. if we practice the Christian life and church life just outwardly, we cannot build up the church. it is very easy for us to focus on outward things. sometimes, we are even distracted by Satan to all outward practices, and ignore inward reality. we may come to all the meetings, do all kinds of practical services, and give offerings faithfully every week. but there is no building up of the Body, for we are not in spirit. everything has become a ritual, formality. if we are not in spirit, all the things that we do will not profit any building for the church. as long as we are in spirit, although we may have limited capacity to function, we are still building up the church bit by bit.

What was the main burden of this camp?
the vision of the world: we need to see some negative points, so that after graduation, we can know how to stand against the current tide of the world. the cure for all problems is the proper humanity of Jesus. we need to eat Jesus, in order to be humanly Jesus. the Lord has already given us a picture of the situation at the end of this age, so we need to be lovers of God.
the vision of the self: the self, all the opinions damage the church life. we need to be "Amen" people, with the Lord as the Amen within us. how can we be such Amen people? this is fulfilled by spending the riches that Christ has given to us.
the vision of the dwelling place of God: on the one hand, in divine and mystical realm, God's dwelling place is in spirit; on the other hand, in practical sense, God's dwelling place is in the city where the believers live. why God ordained "one church one city"? Why does God not allow us to choose for ourselves? why is oneness so important to God? first, the Triune God is oneness. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, these three wonderful persons are all in one. so, as His expression, the church should also have and keep such oneness. the way to keep in one, is in spirit and by cross.
the vision of consecration: after we all have seen God's economy, His heart desire is to dispense Himself into us, that He is building His unique dwelling place, that He is fulfilling the dream of Bethel, having seen all these visions, we must come to consecration. this is the natural progress, where everyone has to arrive.
the enlightenment I received
the only way to keep the oneness, is not from ourselves, but in spirit, by cross. the Triune God only has one unique name. He doesn't give us any other name. and He said clearly that "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truthfulness. " all God's building work is in spirit. in order to keep oneness, to remain in church life, to build up the Body of Christ, we must do everything in spirit. otherwise, our natural life and self can only damage even destroy the Body. how can we stay in spirit? how can we avoid anything from the old man, the natural life? the only way is to allow the cross to cross out everything not in spirit. we need to be willing to take the cross, to bear the cross, remain on the cross, by the resurrection power of Christ, which requires us to stay in spirit. this is the only way to nullify all our concepts, traditions, and opinions.
it is a great thing that, the Lord visited us in grace, we got saved, and we can give ourselves to the Lord. without the supply and sustain from the Lord, we will never be able to give ourselves to the Lord. our consecration is the result of the mercy, love and grace by the Lord, constantly given to us. the Lord has given us a simple way to voluntarily consecrate ourselves to the Lord, which is to lay our hands on His head, to identify us with what He has accomplished for us.
the application in daily life
the whole world is the evil system of Satan, which is totally against God. during the two years in the training, we are quite preserved by the training atmosphere. but after graduation, we will get into different localities. are we able to stand against the current tide, to be a proper testimony for the Lord. can we "do not be fashioned according to the age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind"? the answer is to eat the proper humanity of Jesus. Lord Jesus is the first God-man, complete God and perfect man.
