Done by Christian Boltanski from France. His artwork looks like this. This is a photo of a picture post card of his Teshima artwork. Inside you hear someone's heartbeat recorded and registered in the archives. Every one has a different heartbeat; thus you would be impressed differently according to what sort of heartheat you are hearing. Frankly speaking, I felt sea sick first, then tried again. The second time was much easier psychologically and the second heartbeat, that of a woman whose heartbeat was recorded in Echigo when there was an art event there, happened to sound much healthier.
Before you go into this chamber, there's a information corner where you get the minimum information about whose heartbeat you are gonna hear.
