Here's a picture I asked my elder daughter to take when she and I went on a walking excursion in Kamakura. The temple is named Tokei-ji, once a nunnery now headed by a male monk and still has a feminine gentle atmosphere. Due to rather unusually warm temperatures, we had a privilege to enjoy many kinds of flowers and trees at its peak simultaneously. We did enjoy seeing Japanese apricot flowers and cherry blossoms at the same time. It was windy and the petals were dancing wildly in the air over us. Fantastic ... Mitsumata or Edgeworthia chrysantha flowers were gorgeous too. They are one of the flowers that jump up to bloom as soon as the warm sun of spring is felt. Enjoy the photo.
