カフェ・オ・ゴーゴーのほうはサミー・ロウホーン、ルーサー・ジョンソン、オーティス・スパン、オーディー・ペインを擁するマディ・ウォーターズのレギュラー・バンドがバック。マディのためにあるバンドなのでさすがのジョン・リー翁もやややりにくいのか大人しく聴こえます。一方の刑務所ライヴはルーサー・タッカーを中心としたバンドがバックで盛り上がる聴衆に乗せられてかノリノリ、"Boom Boom"の改作"Bang Bang Bang Bang"は大盛り上がり。

ダニー・ハザウエィのアレンジにキング・カーティスのプロデュース、ホーンにバリバリにジャズメンやサイドギターにコーネル・デュプリーを使ったN.Y.録音。
Federalに吹き込んだ十八番"The Stamble"にタイトルソング"My Feeling for the Blues"を除いた9曲はカバー、それもブルースファンばら知らぬものはいないであろう超が付く有名曲ばかり。まず思うのはなんでこんな選曲をしたのだろうと素朴に。ある意味非常に聴きやすいアーバンブルースサウンド、が、正直私には物足りない一枚でした。この後のShelter録音のほうが聴き応えありました。つーか、こんなこと云ってる輩はKing/Federal録音だけ聴いてろ！って云われそうですが(笑)
