Grade 6 have been practicing the Tug-of-War for the Sports Day next week!
They were talking together about where different people should go on the rope, and how to best pull the rope.
^Waiting to pull the big rope.
Everyone was sweating!
^Doing our best to win!!
Everyone did their best to win, and even though some teams lost everyone was clapping for them.
We practiced lots of times.
We interviewed a Grade 6 student about the practice:
Q1) What was the difficult part about pulling the rope?
A1) The other team was strong so it was difficult to keep our body pose.
Q2) What do you want to improve for next time?
A2) We want to be more motivated next time!
I thought the most important part about Sports Day is to have fun and be motivated!
I want to do my best at Sports Day and have lots of fun.
