On 16th June the whole school gathered up to present songs they had practiced and sang in class!
Everyone did their best with their performances and worked together.
It was fun watching everyone dance and sing.

Our Sport's Day Practice has started!
Grade 5 students are practicing their relay on the track.

Our PE teacher is teaching us how to run fast.
The relay is very hard for us, but we help each other and have a great time.

At Futaba Elementary School we have many iPads.
We can use them to search for things, and make presentations in class.
^ Music Time - Grade 4 learning about the koto.
On May 14th, in the Music Room the Grade 4 students learned all about the koto by searching for information on the iPad.

It is fun to research things on the iPad and we learn so much.

From April 24th to 26th the Grade 6 students went to Nagasakifor a school excursion.

Actually, it's just steam coming from the hot water which come from volcanic activity in the mountains.

We had a Prayer Assembly (Mass) at lunchtime because this month is when we pray and think about
Blessed Mary, Mother of Jesus.

Q: What did you do at assembly today?
A: We prayed for Mary.
Our teacher told us that we should be nice to people, just like Mary was.
Q: Did you have a good time?
A: Yes :)
