We had the regular event for the fall semester’s students in Sophia Univ. from U.S.in early Dec. afternoon at cooking room near Iidabshi-sta. International students from US university and their host family held Cultual Exchange Event at Jinbo -cho Kuminkan on weekend afternoon. Special feature of this event is to experience making Nuno-zouri(cloth sandal). Nuno-Zouri is lately remarkable as one of utilization of recyclable resources. The International students joined workshop of wagashi-making The total number of 40 people including staff and international students from US University joined in this workshop on May 30. Akihabara, very trendy places for animation and electric town, they had very rare experience to learn the traditional food culture in Japan. . . . Read more
