According to some Media,

Amazon reacently considered displaying the added cost of tariffs on certain items.

Donald Trump called Amazon founder,Jeff Bezos , to complain about reports the company planned to display prices that show the impact of tariffs.

The White House officials confirmed this fact.

Trump himself said on Tuesday,

“Jeff Bezos was very nice. He was terrific.

He solved the problem very quickly. Good guy.”

However one of the officials said,

“Of course he was pissed.”

Karoline  Leavitt , White House Press Secretary , called the move a “hostile and political act.”

I guess,

The Trump administration is extremely sensitive about the unpopularity of its tariff policies.
