去年の5月31日、イスラエルによる Gaza 地区の封鎖解除を求めて Gaza 地区に向かっていた抗議船団に対し、イスラエル軍が襲撃→抗議船団の9人が殺害＋抗議船団に参加していた人達が拘束されるという騒動が起きた。
これに対し、各国からイスラエル政府に対し非難の声が殺到→国連人権理事会の調査報告書で『イスラエル政府の対応は人権法や国際人道法に対する重大な違反があった』と判断された。
これに対し、イスラエル政府は、これを「合法」とする自前の調査結果を公表した。

一方、去年の11月になって Gaza 地区に向けてイスラエル政府に対する抗議船を出す計画が打ち出され、今年5月に決行されることになった。
これに対しイスラエル政府は、各国に対し「抗議船の出港を認めない」ことを求めていた模様・・・。
この計画を打ち出していたのは、欧州各国に拠点を置く複数 NGO から構成される European Campaign to End the Siege of Gaza（ECESG：Gaza 地区の封鎖解除を求める欧州の運動？）という会合みたいなもん。
現時点では、34の団体から構成されていて、2団体が支援をしている・・・（欧州諸国ではマイナーな立場だけど）。

それ以前に、どうやって今回ネタにした抗議船団を出すのを計画した人達を「急進的イスラム主義者」と判断するんだ？
ま、この辺りは、南極海における「調査捕鯨」団に対して抗議活動を繰り広げてる Sea Shepherd を「環境テロリスト」と呼ぶのに通じるものがありそうだが（苦笑）
というか、抗議船団に参加する予定の船が所属する国に出港させないことを求めるなら、色々面倒なことが起きそうだが。
その手段の 1つとして対象となってる船の船籍を剥奪するなんてのも考えられるが、実行するハードルは相当高そうだし・・・。
