Thank you for your e-mail.
It is not so cold here in New York.
I just came back from Los Angeles,
which was a nice and interesting trip.
I am looking forward to meeting Ms. Kirie Maruoka.
Please have her e-mail me,
so that we can arrange a lesson plan for her.
The semester has started again at the New School,
and I am busy teaching there again since Tuesday.
I hope you'll feel better soon!
How is your singing?

Thank you so much for your e-mail .
I'm very glad that Ms. Kirie Maruoka could meet you
and take your private lesson .
I'm happy that you received my gift and message card .
The key chain with a musical note is cute , isn't it ?
The small pearl is a Mikimoto pearl , very famous in Japan .
I also have the same one .
They are a pair , like us , teacher and student .
How lovely !!
In fact , it went to N.Y.C. twice .
Last November , I gave it to Ms. Emiko Tada
who is my teacher in Japan .
But she couldn't meet you ...
At last , it found you !!!
Although I'm sorry that Ms. Maruoka couldn't see
your live performance at 55 Bar ,
she had a great time with you .
She also liked you and said she felt
you are a trustworthy person and a great teacher .
I can't wait to have your lessons again in August ...
I became even more passionate about music after our lessons .
I love singing the songs you taught me .
I will do my best to make you proud , as a teacher , of my singing .
Until August ......
