この圧倒的自信に満ちたおっさんがふんぞり返ってキーボードに向かってる姿は、何処か心の広い頑固なチベットの高僧の風格が感じられて大好きなのである。 しかも永きに渡ってフリージャズを一筋に探求に打ち込む真摯な姿勢だけで、ありがたく黙ってその創作に触れたい気が起こってくる。 出来上がった音楽を聴くには理論や詮索の類は無用、むしろ有害ですらあることを思い知るお方であると思っている。 ぼんやり抱いていた既成概念なぞは、あっさりと気持ちよく打ち砕いてくれる歓びをこそ味わうのが筋だろう。
