Today was our last day of this tour in Taipei.
After the breakfast , we explored the places around the Office of the President, Taiwan .
In particular, the Zhongshan Hall and the 228 Memorial Park .

At about 13:30, we took the subway to the Songshan Airport.
After mama checked in, , my father and I went to the scenic Dahu Park .
In there, we saw many local residents having picnics during Sunday afternoon.

We went back to Songshan Airport to take the 16:10 bus to Taoyan International Airport.
We had our last tasty local food after checked in.
The return fight to Singapore was delayed by an hour .

金瓜石之黃金博物館-本山五坑坑道體驗 →九份之山城老街

Due to unexpected rainy weather, Mama fell sick since yesterday evening.
This morning after our breakfast , we went to a Japanese drug store to buy her some medicine.
We took the bus number 1062 from Taipei City to the Gold Museum Park in New Taipei City .
When we reached there , we went straight for lunch . We had meal using the special mining box.
After that, we walked up hill .. to the Gold Museum .
We were surprised to see a row of Sakura trees blossoming .. outside the museum.
In the museum, we saw exhibitions about different types of stones, history of gold mining, mining technology used, and miners' life during that time.
Mama and I had the opportunity to touch and take pictures with a 220.3kg gold brick.
After that, we went to experienced the Benshan Fifth Mining Tunnel.

At around 15:30, we took a local bus to the nearby Jiufen town.
The old town was built against the mountain side, linked by a few narrow streets and staircases.
It had many small interesting shops and food stalls which were crowded with tourists.
Just before the night fall, it stopped raining and the sky brightened up.
We took the same bus service back to Taipei City for dinner before went back to the hotel .

金山之獅頭山公園 →野柳地質公園 →基隆之廟口小吃

Early this morning, we took the same bus as we did yesterday from Taipei Main Station to Jingshan.
When we reached there, we walked to the Sitoushan Park. At the north end of the park, we had a magnificent view of the East China Sea .

In the early afternoon , we took a local bus to the famous Yeliu Geopark.
The park was very crowded even though it was raining heavily .. .
We took a lot of pictures with many of the weird rocks, especially the one named Queen Head .

In the evening , we traveled to Keelung City and visited the popular Miaokou Night Market.
The market was full of delicious food and we ate the famous Taiwan Tempura , etc.

At about 19:37, we took the train from Keelung City to Taipei City .
We went back to hotel after having our light dinner at Taipei Underground Shopping Street.

陽明山國家公園: 竹子湖之海芋田→冷水坑之夢幻湖-溫泉池-牛奶池-菁山吊橋→西門町

Early this morning, we took Bus 1717 near Taipei Main Station to Zhuzihu Station of Yangmingshan National Park
In there , we saw many beautiful white Hai Ow flowers blossoming in the farms.
After hours of strolling .. , we ate lunch at a mountain-side restaurant to refresh ourselves.
We continued our flower-viewing before taking a park bus to the Monghuanhu Station of Lengshuikang.
It was a short walk up the mountain to view the magnificent lake.
Then, we walked down the mountain to the Lengshuikang public hot spring .
We enjoyed the foot bathing very much especially after a long day walk.
Just before the sunset, we visited the nearby milk pond and suspension bridge.
We took the last park bus to Yangmingshan Bus Terminal and then transferred to bus 260 to Taipei City.

In the evening, we went to Ximending Shopping District before heading back to the hotel .

二二八和平紀念公園 →中正紀念堂 →鼎泰豐 →士林夜市

Early this morning, we flew to Taipei . （前回 台北之旅 は12年12月27日 - 13年01月01日）
After we reached the Taoyan International Airport, we took a long-distant bus to Taipei City
By the time we reached the hotel , my mother was waiting for us .
In the late afternoon, we went to the CKS Memorial Hall through the 228 Memorial Park .. .

We ate a lot of yummy food , especially the Xiao Long Bao for dinner at Ding Tai Fung Restaurant.

In the evening , we went to Shiling Night Market. （前回 士林夜市 は12年12月29日 ）
I bought a pair of long pants , some socks and .. .
I also ate the popular Shiling hotdog, etc.

We went back to the hotel around 22:30 .
