Members of the Union of Hong Kong Dockers are being refused their fundamental right to strike after their employer Hong Kong International Terminals (HIT) gained an injunction against them.
香港港湾労働者の組合員は、雇い主である香港国際ターミナル（以下HIT）が差し止め命令を得た後、ストライキを行う基本的権利を奪われている。
It means they have been thrown out of the Kwai Chung Container Terminal. They are struggling to gain the opportunity for transparent, good faith dialogue with HIT over the health and safety, working conditions, the need for pay disparity between contract and directly employed workers and the exploitation of outsourced workers.
事態はクワイ・チュン・コンテナ・ターミナルから、港湾労働者が放り出されることを意味している。港湾労働者はHIT社と、健康と安全、労働条件、契約労働者と正規労働者の間の賃金格差、外国から調達した労働者への搾取などの問題について、透明性の高いオープンな対話を行うべく、闘っている。
HIT is a subcontractor of global network terminal operator Hutchison. Dockers must unite to show these global giants that they have to take some responsibility for the welfare of their workers including those employed by subcontractors.
