テモテへの第二の手紙 3:16-17 16 聖書はすべて神の霊感によるもので、教えと戒めと矯正と義の訓練とのために有益です。 17 それは、神の人があらゆる良い働きのために十分に整えられた者となるためです。

2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

In biblical times, God spoke in many dramatic ways. Although He still speaks today, some of His methods have changed. He doesn’t speak with an audible voice or send an angel every time He has something to say to us.

今日、父が私たちに語りかける主な方法は、書き記された御言葉を通してです。聖霊は、ある人々の心に神の真理を吹き込み、それを完璧に書き記すよう彼らに啓示しました（2テモテ3:16）。欠けているものは一つもありません。

The primary way our Father speaks to us today is through His written Word. His Holy Spirit breathed divine truth upon the minds of certain men and inspired them perfectly to write it down (2 Tim. 3:16). Not a single thing is missing.

聖書は、私たちの差し迫った必要、心配、心痛、悩みに神が語りかける方法です。問題に直面すると、私たちは友人やカウンセラーに相談するなど、他の情報源に頼ることがよくあります。それはすべて結構なことで、父なる神は確かに敬虔な男性や女性を通して語られます。しかし、私たちが最初に参照すべき情報源は神の言葉です。人生で疑問や緊急事態が発生したときだけ聖書を手に取るなら、神があなたに伝えたいことの全体像は決して理解できません。

The Bible is God’s way of speaking to our pressing needs, concerns, heartaches, and worries. So often when trouble strikes, we turn to other sources, perhaps talking to a friend or counselor. All of that is well and good, and the Father does indeed speak through godly men and women. But the first resource we should consult is His Word. If you pick up the Bible only when you have a question or emergency in your life, you’ll never get the big picture of what God wants to say to you.
