[17] Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
真の自由はここにあります
自由に対する考え方は人それぞれです。ほとんどの人は自由は追求すべき美徳だと言いますが、その考え方は定義によって異なります。
多くの人は、自由とは束縛がないことだと考えています。つまり、私たちを束縛するものから自由になったとき、私たちは自由であるということです。一方、人間の意志によって自由を定義する人もいます。つまり、望むものを選べるなら、私たちは自由になれるということです。しかし、これらの考え方は聖書に書かれていることとは少し異なります…
神の言葉によれば、自由は神の霊があるところに存在します。自由は、神が私たちの人生のために立てられた本来の計画に従って生きるときに見つかります。
私たちがイエスと共に人生を始めるとき、イエスは私たちに新しい心と新しい生き方を与えてくださいます。また、神の霊を私たちの内に送ってくださり、私たちの内に住まわせてくださいます。パウロはコリント人への手紙二3章17節で、主の霊があるところには真の自由があると述べています。つまり、イエスを信じる私たち全員がこの自由を得ることができるということです。
自由は、自分のしたいことを何でもすることからではなく、私たちの内に住まわれる神の御霊に従って生きることから生まれます。
そして、私たちはその自由を持ち、神の御霊が私たちの内に住まわれているからこそ、それを分かち合うように召されているのです。キリストにある自由は、選ばれた少数の人だけのものではありません。私たちだけで持つべきものではありません。

True Freedom is Here
Everyone thinks about freedom differently. Most people would say freedom is a virtue that should be sought, but that idea changes depending on how it’s defined.
A lot of people think freedom is the absence of restraints—we are free when we're free from things that hold us back. Others define freedom by our human will—if we can choose what we want, then we can be free. But these ideas are a bit different from what we find in Scripture...
According to God’s Word, freedom is found wherever the Spirit of God is found. Freedom is found when we live according to God’s original design for our life.
When we begin our life with Jesus, He gives us a new heart and a new way to live. He also sends the Spirit of God to live within us. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 3:17 that wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is true freedom. That means all of us who believe in Jesus have access to this freedom.
Freedom doesn’t come from doing whatever we want but from living according to the Spirit of God—who lives within us.
And because we have that freedom, and the Spirit of God living in us, we are called to share it! The freedom we have in Christ isn't reserved for a select few. It's not meant to be kept to ourselves.

Have you ever struggled to know what to say when sharing your faith with others? I'm Deja with you version, and I'd love to encourage you to seek the words to share through prayer. In Ephesians, Paul prays for the right words to bully share his faith with others. We read in Ephesians 6, verse 19, Print. Also for me that whenever I speak, words may be given to me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel Paul's words given to him through God's gift of the Holy Spirit have helped people just like you and me share the gospel with millions of others throughout history and across the world. Just imagine what God could do when you lean on him as you share your faith. So today, let's ask the Holy Spirit that God our conversations as we bully share our faith Right now. Who can you share Jesus with?

God, I thank you for Your freedom and Your Spirit. Today, give me the wisdom, boldness, and the right words to speak as I share Your good news and freedom with others. Guide my conversations. Fill me with Your Spirit. In Your Name, Amen.
