The Senior User represents the interests of the users. The Senior User is responsible for ensuring that the specifications and quality criteria are defined unequivocally in full and that the product is fit for purpose.
The Senior User is also responsible for communicating with the users and for the deployment of people and resources from the users. In the event of a conflict of interests among the users, the Senior User will have to make the final decision.
The Senior User is also responsible for identifying and defining the benefits and to ensure that the forecast benefits are being achieved.
The role of Senior User can be filled by more than one person within the Project Board.
