ロンドンのWorld Travel Marketでマヨルカ・クラシック２００７（ゴルフ）の
プレゼンテーションに一役買ったラファ。ラファ効果か、世界２０カ国から
９０名近い報道陣と１００人ほどの人が集まる盛況振り。

「どこにいてもコースが近くにあればゴルフをしたい。
（テニスの）トレーニングの支障にならない限り、ね。
ゴルフが本当に好きなんだ。アグレッシブじゃないし、
勝つということについてのアプローチも（テニスとは）違う。
僕のハンディは２１、５なんだけど、もっと練習して
ハンディを少なくしたい」（ナダル）
ちなみにガトのハンディは１３～１４。

そして、このロンドン滞在中、１２月１～３日に
マラガで開催されるエキジビ出場を約束した模様。

このエキジビは、今年春に引退したコスタを
称えるためのものらしい。出場予定はラファ、
モヤ、フェレール、フェリ、コスタ、ベルダスコ。
ラファとモヤはシードで、２回戦（ＳＦ）から出場。
決勝の模様はテレビ放映（Antena 3）あり。
そういえば、ラファが一躍脚光を浴びたのは、
モンテカルロ２００３で前年度ＲＧ優勝者コスタに
勝った時でしたね。
