Ｕ２のデビュー・アルバム、『Ｂｏｙ』が発売になったのは１９８０年。丁度、僕は１６歳でした。今、聴いても荒削りだけど、ボノのヴォーカル、そしてジ・エッジのギターは新鮮ですね。あれから２６年の歳月が過ぎたのかと思うと感慨もひとしおです。このアルバムでは、僕は、①I Will Follow、④Into The Heart、⑤Out Of Controlとかが好きですね。
