My father passed away.

He passed away on 30th January. When his heart beat stopped , my wife, me and his doctors surrounded him. Yesderday we held his funural ceremony at Shinagawa Buptest church. So many people attended it more than my estimation.

My parents were devoted christian. He used to be a buddhist effectd by his parents. but when he was 70 years old he got a serious sick caused by his long term smoking. At that time a minister of church introduced a hospital and he could stay alive. After that , he became an devoted christian.

Yesterday I made speech for 10 minute which was about memories of my father. But before my speech , some people of the church sung a hymn which was my mother's favorite and also my favorite. My feeling became high and I weeped cause I remembered many things around my father and mother by this hymn

I also weeped by minister's speech. My parents had a long term and close relation with this miniter,so he knows my father very well ,I suppose his understanding was more than me especialy about my father's mental and spiritual life.

So I started weeping just before my speech in front of many people.
But I am sure this memory will stay in my mind for long time.

Looking for a new car

I am looking for a new car. My current car was 6 years old. There are many damage on body which I made during parking adjust. My parking space has a pole on both side which made damage. I do not care the damage not like Japanese usual people. Yesterday sale people told me that officail chedk is coming up on next May. So I decided to change my car.

My golf avarege score

I have recorded my golf score on excel sheet, every time when I go to my home course.
Today I compiled my average score of 2006 after coming back from course.
I think it is not so bad considering my age. But I think I can eliminate my score if I will try to make effort.
I wonder which is better to make effort to eliminate score or only enjoy it.
My offcial handy cap is still 10, can not become below 9. It seems difficult to win in compitition of my country club. But I do not give up, I will try to attend the compitition again.

New Year's decoration

This is my wife's work for the new year's decoaration.
She likes to make decorations, when baby born ,new year , christmas. When any event happens especialy good event, she produces them and she presents them to her friends.

Today is 30th December, almost end of this year, she is cooking for the new year's food. Almost food shops are closed until 3rd jan from 1st so there is a custome to prepare the food for the new year. Japanese wife preparess special food for new year. It take much time and efforts, so recently many wifes do not prepare them, but my wife does it. She has kind hearts and does not save the efforts.
