岐阜県世界青年友の会ではさる２月18日に国際理解講座PartⅡを実施しました。これはJICAが2016年度に実施する「総合的な廃棄物管理技術研修」事業で日本に招へいした研修員に日本文化をより深く知ってもらおうと実施したもので、スリランカ、ニウエ、ネパール、ラオス、フィリピン、マレーシアからのメンバー8人は当日、まず大垣市立中川小学校を訪問し、5年、6年の生徒と合唱の披露や英語で将来の夢を話し合うなどの交流を行いました。その後、フォーラムホテルに移動し、GWY役員や市民を交えて懇談会を行いました。その後、奥の細道むすびの地記念館を見学し、俳句あるいは奥の細道を通して日本文化の一端を学びました。

GWY carried out International Understanding Program Part 2 on February 18. GWY invited JICA 8 trainees as Knowledge Co-Creation Program- Comprehensive Waste Management, from Suri Lanka, Niue, Nepal, Laos, the Philippines and Malaysia with an aim of deepening understanding of Japanese culture. In the morning, they visited Ogaki municipal Nakagawa primary school in Ogaki where they enjoyed listening to chorus by 5th and 6th graders and talking about their future dream. They moved to Ogaki Forum Hotel to have a talk with citizens and executive members of GWY about Asia and Oceania. They also visited Memorial museum of Okunohosomichi(Basho)
to learn about Japanese culture through Haiku and Okunohosomichi.
