以前、同レーベルよりリリースされた「THE AMERICAN TOUR」を24BITでリマスタリングした再発盤です。
既発盤も元々音質が良好なモノだったらしく、再発されたのはファンには非常に嬉しい事です。
本作の聴き所といえば、およそ24分にも及ぶ「 Same Old Blues」でのメンバー間の怒涛のプレイには圧巻ですし、アンコールの「 Further On Up The Road」にはオープニング・アクトを務めたロバート・クレイが飛び入りしているのも注目のひとつです。
