http://astra-turbo-quasar.syntheway.net - Astra Turbo Quasar is a dual phase distortion synthesizer that dynamically change the harmonic content of a carrier waveform by influence of another modulator waveform. It can be used to create spacey pads, synth keys, leads, atmospheric textures and ambient soundscapes. Features a collection of 30 presets suitable for many genres and styles of music and flexibility to custom design over a diverse sonic palette. Available as plugin in VST and VST3 64 bit versions for Windows, as well as in Audio Unit for macOS.

Features

• Two Phase Distortion Oscillators: Offers 16 different single-cycle waveforms per channel.
- Modulation Depth: Controls the wave shape distortion for left and right channels. The values can be changed by turning the slider or by entering a value from the keypad and pressing enter key.
- Waveshaper Section: These combo boxes presents a double selectable wave shapes with 5 basic waveforms: sawtooth, square, pulse, double sine and sawtooth-pulse plus 3 resonant waveforms: resonance 1 (sawtooth), resonance 2 (triangle) and resonance 3 (trapezoid). Provides independent controls for the left and right channels.

• ADSR Envelope Generator: A four stage envelope generator with independent control over each stage with Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release

• Envelope Modulator.

• Filter Section: A smooth state variable filter with cutoff frequency, resonance, filter type to switches between lowpass, highpass, bandpass, or band-rejection filter types.

• Low-Frequency Oscillator: with bypass switch, rate and depth controls.

• Reverb/Ambience: Brings a sense of spatial depth and width to sound, from small to huge sounding spaces.

• Loudness: Adjusts the volume (amplitude control).

• Dual Delay effect: Stores the input signal and plays it back after a certain amount of time, creating from a subtle echo to a pronounced blending of previous sounds with new sounds. Parameters includes: Amount, Time and Feedback to control independently the left and right channels. The values can be changed by turning the knob or by entering a value from the keypad and pressing enter key.

• Mono mode switch: Possibility of turn the synth into monophonic mode.

• Glide: The rate at which portamento slides the pitch between two notes, when playing in monophonic mode.

• Hint property: Tooltip when the mouse is over a control.

• MIDI automation.

• Preset Manager: 'Browser' to load and save presets and banks, enabling to export to *.fxp (VST2 Preset), *.fxb (VST2 Bank), *.vstpreset (VST3 Preset), *.aupreset (Audio Unit Preset) plus two generic formats (plain text)

• VST or VST3 compatible host application 32/64 bit: These VST/VST3 software can be "plugged in" to any host application that supports VST or VST3 Technology like: Image-Line FL Studio, Steinberg Cubase Pro, Artist and Elements, Steinberg Nuendo, Cakewalk by BandLab, Cockos REAPER, PreSonus Studio One, Acoustica Mixcraft, Ableton Live, MakeMusic Finale, Avid Sibelius, Magix ACID Music Studio, Magix Samplitude Music Studio and Pro X, Cantabile, n-Track Studio, DarkWave Studio, Bitwig, VSTHost, SAVIHost among others.

Requirements for macOS:
• Operating System: macOS Sierra, macOS High Sierra, macOS Mojave, macOS Catalina. We do not officially support older systems such as PowerPC or deprecated versions of Mac OS X. However our plugins may work, but we cannot guarantee any performance on such old systems.
• Audio Unit compatible host application. They can be "plugged in" to process audio by applications such as Logic Pro, GarageBand, Ableton Live, REAPER, Studio One Professional, Ardour, MainStage and Digital Performer among others.
