Talents とはキャラの能力を上げるキャラ毎のオリジナリティーを出してゆくシステムです。
World of Warcraft では レベル１０以降レベルアップする毎に１ポイントずつ増える『TP』を Talents に振ってゆくことができるようになります。
Talents にポイントを振っていくと、 Strength・Agility・Stamina・Intellect・Spirit などのステータス上昇や物理ダメージ値・範囲や攻撃速度の上昇，魔法ダメージ値・範囲やキャスト速度の上昇，特定の相手へのダメージ上昇の効果が出ます。
もちろん、すべての Talents にポイントを振り切ることはできないので、限られたポイントを どの Talents に振ってゆくかがキーになります。
ときどき、レベルアップしても『TP』ポイントを振り忘れていて、ポイントが貯まっていることに気づきます。（モッタイナイ）

レベル10から「Talent（才能）」ボタンを押すことによって、プレーヤーがTalent（才能）インタフェースを開くことができるようになります。そしてそれは「 Spellbook と Abilities（能力）」ボタンの横に、あるいは「Ｎ」デフォルトホットキーを押すことによって現れます。
Talent（才能）を変えたいときは、クラストレーナーに会って、ダイアローグオプションを選べば変えることができます。Talent（才能）を忘れるには1ゴールドかかります。そして、そうするたびに、コストが高くなってゆきます。 しかしながら、同じく才能を忘れようとするためのコストは時間が経つと安くなります。 」

Talents give you another way to customize your character by choosing what areas of your class to specialize in. Starting at level 10, players can open the talent interface by pressing the "Talents" button, which resides next to the "Spellbook and Abilities" button, or by pressing the "N" default hotkey.
If you wish to change your talents, you can do so by visiting any class trainer and selecting the dialogue option. It costs gold to unlearn your talents, and the cost escalates each time you do so.
