Hallelujah! I praise the name of the Lord. Thank you for your sincere prayers and precious offerings.
I had the opportunity to purchase and later watch the online ticket version of the J. GOSPEL Concert "Kokoro Gospel: Song of Joy" which took place on August 17th. 
I was blessed by the wonderful performance of the praise team!

In our flock, the new year begins in November, and this fall, the J. Gospel music book "Kaze no Hibiki 12" will be published ahead of the new year.

The process of composing and writing for the song collection is currently underway, and I am personally striving to submit a song in faith.
I pray with the hope that the 12th collection will be richly used for the work of the Lord and the production of the music book will go smoothly.

In September, Pastor Fuchino and I, along with some other pastors from TLEA churches in the USA, will be sent to Washington D.C. as part of a praise band. 
Therefore, we are praying and preparing for this mission together during the pastor's prayer meeting.

By the way, due to the current severe situation in Israel, the mission trip scheduled for November has unfortunately been canceled. 
I will continue to pray for Israel and prepare for the next mission.

July 2024

Hallelujah!
I praise the name of the Lord. Thank you for your sincere prayers and precious offerings.

I was able to participate in the special meeting held on July 15th, featuring Pastors Volodymyr and Radovan, through a live online broadcast.
The meeting was filled with God’s love, and I was greatly blessed.
The following day, from July 16th to 19th, I was able to fully participate in the Hakuba Camp via online streaming from my location.
As usual, and even more so this year, the camp greatly strengthened me spiritually, and I received encouragement and refreshment from God.
Additionally, the "Hakuba World Gospel Festival 2024" held during the Hakuba Camp was also broadcast live, and I was so blessed by the J-Gospel praise.
Thanks to the benefits of the internet, I was able to receive the blessings of the TLEA flock without being constrained by distance or location, making this summer truly wonderful!

On June 29th, the “7 Countries & Japan Worldwide Joint Gospel WEB Festival 2024,” an international WEB Gospel concert, was held, featuring eight countries:
the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, and India.
I was able to watch it later, and I was deeply moved by the great work of the gospel teams involved worldwide!

Hallelujah!

I praise the name of the Lord. Thank you for your sincere prayers and precious offerings.

Pastor Peter Kubota of the TLEA Tokyo Antioch Church (Director of the TLEA Film Mission) stayed in Los Angeles for about a week
starting June 12 to participate in a "Screenwriting Seminar" as part of the Hollywood team.
We, being local, assisted with updating the blog and other tasks. We look forward to the future development of the film mission with great anticipation!

In late May, we visited Sis. H, who lives in Big Bear Lake City. We had been invited before, and this time we were sent to Big Bear Lake City (elevation 2060m) as a praise team.
The city, filled with beautiful lilac flowers, offered breathtaking scenery, and Sis. H joined us in singing praises. We walked on the Alpine Pedal Path and worshipped the Lord by the tranquil lakeshore.
Then, we walked The Woodland Trail and worshipped on the mountaintop.
We also visited the famous bridge called Stanfield Marsh Boardwalk, where we sang and glorified the Lord on the bridge over the lake.
We are grateful that God prepared the time and blessed the work of the Hosanna Praise Team, and we give all glory to the Lord.

Hallelujah!
I praise the name of the Lord. Thank you for your sincere prayers and precious offerings.

I visited Sacramento, the capital of California, for the first time from April 23rd to 25th, accompanied by Pastor Fuchino. This place is said to mean "Sacred" in Spanish.
We participated in a guided tour at the California State Capitol, where we had the opportunity to visit the Senate chamber and other areas, making it a very enlightening learning experience.
Afterwards, we took time to praise and worship the Lord at the Capitol's garden as part of a praise team!

In front of the Capitol, you can see the Sacramento Tower Bridge spanning the Sacramento River.
Along the river, there's Old Town, reminiscent of the Gold Rush era, where we offered praise and worship to the Lord amidst the beautiful riverside scenery.

The third place we visited was Southside Park, located in a district where many Japanese families once lived.
It seems to have a history of Japanese internment and the demolition of Japanese neighborhoods.
However, currently, cherry blossom trees are planted there as a memorial. In that spot, too, we were able to offer praise wholeheartedly.
I am grateful for God's blessings on the work of the praise team, and I give all glory to Him.

Hallelujah!
I praise the name of the Lord. Thank you for your sincere prayers and precious offerings.

I visited the Manzanar War Relocation Center, located at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains on March 29th.

It took approximately four hours one way from Los Angeles to Manzanar.

At the visitor center, there was a mini theater where I watched a documentary film (22 minutes long).

During World War II, over ten thousand Japanese Americans were forcibly detained at this location.

The perimeter of the camp was surrounded by barbed wire, and it seemed that there was constant surveillance throughout.

Several barracks from that time were also recreated, and considering the high altitude and constant strong winds, I imagined that life there must have been incredibly challenging, surpassing any expectations.

Pastor Fuchino and I took time to praise and worship the Lord at the former camp site. I am so grateful for the opportunity to visit and serve the Lord as part of the praise team there.

By the way, Grace, a member of the Los Angeles Church who lives in Missouri, will participate in a preliminary singing contest for "Hakuba J-Gospel" in the United States in May.

Hallelujah!
I praise the name of the Lord. Thank you for your sincere prayers and precious offerings.

This year, there have been relatively many rainy days in Southern California, so the city is adorned with beautiful greenery and spring flowers. Daylight saving time has already started since March 10th.

"The HAKUBA Sunerugoi Camp" was held from February 27th to February 29th, and I was fortunate to participate remotely from my location, benefiting from the blessings of the internet.
Personally, I was able to participate in the practical training of the spiritual gifts through "Teams" as well, and received valuable lessons.
The camp has lifted and strengthened the faith of individuals in the Los Angeles church. I am grateful for being able to fully participate from my location.

A short-term missionary team was sent to Indian from March 1st to March 12th, and through online streaming, we were able to feel the powerful work of the Holy Spirit.
I also felt my heart leap with joy from God's message. The sight of the vast crowds gathered at the actual 300,000-person assembly of "Hosanna Ministry" was truly spectacular.
I am truly excited for the work of the Lord. I desire to move forward together in the work of the Lord, guided by the new flow of TLEA.

Hallelujah!
I praise the name of the Lord. Thank you for your sincere prayers and precious offerings.

We are grateful for the recent visit of the Hollywood team from Japan to Los Angeles. Pastor Peter Kubota, Vice Chairman of TLEA Film Mission, attended the Movie Guide Award Ceremony in Hollywood on February 9th.
He participated in the ceremony representing Movie Guide Japan, and we were pleased to support the efforts of the Hollywood team by creating a blog for the team.
And starting on March 12th, the Hollywood team will once again be dispatched to participate in the "Screenwriting Class," so we are keeping the team in our prayers.

On February 5th, I participated in the Nagasaki Martyrs Memorial Service held in Nagasaki via online live streaming. I received a lot of encouragement and inspiration from the messages of both the afternoon and evening services.
I am deeply grateful to have been blessed with such uplifting words.
Someone associated with the Los Angeles church reached out to me, expressing, "It was a wonderful service!" I am genuinely thankful that through these gatherings, our church has experienced strength and renewal.

I am planning to attend the "Hakuba Camp," which will take place from February 27th to 29th, through online live streaming from my location.
Although there is a time difference between Japan and the USA, according to the program, I will also participate in the practical training of the Gifts of the Spirit.
I am looking forward to join the Camp.

Hallelujah! I praise the name of the Lord. I sincerely appreciate your precious prayers and contributions.

I would like to joyfully inform you that Ms. Y declared her faith on December 22, 2023. Y is a friend of Ms. Grace Hoyt, a member of the Los Angeles church residing in St. James, Missouri.
Grace has been caring for Y, who is battling a severe illness. The Los Angeles church has been earnestly praying for her healing and salvation for an extended period.
Ms. Y embraced Christianity under Grace's guidance, and she has also shared her newfound faith with her son. Praise be to the name of the Lord!
In addition, the establishment of 100 TLEA churches in North America is expected to manifest God's work, as spoken by the Lord.

I am planning to participate in the Nagasaki Martyrdom Commemoration Services through online live streaming this year on February 5th in Japan.
Due to the time difference, the services will be broadcast live on the evening of February 4th and at midnight in Los Angeles. I am sincerely thankful for the opportunity to abundantly partake in the grace of the congregation.
Furthermore, a Hollywood mission team is scheduled to be dispatched from February 7th to 14th in Tokyo, Japan. We are fervently praying and preparing for the team.

Hallelujah! I praise the name of the Lord. I sincerely appreciate your precious prayers and contributions.

 

On December 14th, the "KOKORO Gospel Concert: Miracle" took place at "Za-Koenji 2" in Tokyo's Koenji district.

I watched the concert with the recorded version. I was greatly touched and strengthened by the Japanese Gospel.

At the Los Angeles church, we conduct worship services using the J. Gospel song collection "Kaze no hibiki 11".

Currently, due to the absence of instrumentalists, we have purchased piano accompaniment tracks and utilized orchestral arrangements for our worship services.

The praise group "Hosanna" at the Los Angeles church also performs special songs during the service.

As we enter the new year, we anticipate the Lord sending abundant blessings to enrich the choir and orchestra, echoing the words,

"I will establish my covenant between me and you, and I will multiply you exceedingly" (Genesis 17:2).

 

In preparation for the approaching winter, Southern California has already begun using heaters in the mornings and evenings.

Despite the ongoing prevalence of infectious diseases locally, I urge everyone to take good care of themselves.

 

As we move into 2024, please continue to pray for the work of the Los Angeles church and that we may faithfully follow the Lord's will.

November 2023

Hallelujah! I praise the name of the Lord. I sincerely appreciate your precious prayers and offerings.

The new year has started in November, and we received the scripture verse of the Year of 2024 is from Genesis 17:2, which says, "And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly." I am deeply moved by this word, which confirms that we are entering into the fulfillment of God's word.

In the November 5th worship service for the new year at the Los Angeles church, a digest video of the Israel team from the previous year was shown, and the praise group "Hosanna" also offered special praise in Hebrew, serving the Lord. And I recognize myself as one sent anew from Galilee, a spiritual Israelite sent to Los Angeles. I am also praying that next year, the Israel mission will be sent, and I can participate.

On November 12th, a worship service and special meeting took place in Tokyo with Indian Pastor John Wesley from "Hosanna Ministry," and I participated online from here in Los Angeles. Just watching the footage of the crusade where 1.5 million people gathered has elevated my faith. I am inspired to progress further towards the fulfillment of the promise of the "latter rain revival."

Please continue to pray for the work of the Los Angeles church in this new year and that we may walk in accordance with the Lord's will. Thank you.
