上海生活・・・と銘打っておきながら、最初となる投稿は僕の第二の故郷、マレーシアについて書き綴って行きます。
マレーシアには20数年居たのですが、その良さ（と言うか特色）を身をもって実感し始めたのはごくごく最近の事のような気がします。
自分から見たそのマレーシア的特色をつらつらと書いていきます。
食事が豊富・美味しい・しかし高カロリー
多民族・多宗教・多言語。ある程度お互いの違いに寛容
高い教育水準と身近な海外学習
安くできる旅行
隠れた観光地が沢山
親日国家であり英語が話せる旅行しやすい国
等々、今思いつくだけでも数々の「いいとこ」があるのがマレーシアです。

Even tho my Blog's theme is "My life in Shanghai", I would like to start off my blog with something about my second home - Malaysia.
I have been in Malaysia for 20-odd years, but it seems like I have only realized its true beauty in the recent years just before I left.
here's a summary of things I love about Malaysia.
Great food variety and taste - though high in calories
multi-racial, multi-religion, multi-lingual... and mutual tolerance (to an extent)
high standard of education and overseas education that is within reach
cheap holidays! (hugely thanks to airasia)
lots of places to go that are not popular, but great to go
Japanese-friendly country that is easy to go around
so that was about most of the things just off the top of my head,
but I'll discuss them in greater details in later date and post them up.
