we see the importance of having morning revival.
in Song of Songs 1:2, we see the seeker was longing that the Beloved would kiss her with the kisses of his mouth. the kiss of mouth signifies a kind of intimate and affectionate relationship. this is not like the kiss of the father on the neck of the son. this is a sweet relationship between the lovers. we need to build up such a personal and affectionate relationship with the Lord. every morning the Lord is waiting for us to come to Him to spend such a sweet time with Him, so that He can bring us into His inner chamber, where only the Lord and us, in order that He could infuse Himself into us.
Philippians 3:13-14, Paul says that he forgets the things which are behind and pursue towards the goal for the prize. God ordained that the sun will rise every morning. this means, we, believers, can have a new start and new beginning with the Lord every morning. so, no matter how bad a day we had the day before, we can always have a new start in the morning. the Lord is our new beginning.
Lamentations 3:22 talks that the Lord's mercy is new every morning. so everyday, while we are starting the new beginning with the Lord, we can also receive His new mercies.
2 Corinthians 4:16 says that our inner man is being renewed day by day. by having morning watch every morning, we are also being renewed in our mind, emotion and will by the Lord.
daily morning revival enables us to live a vital and victorious life, which meets the requirements of God-ordained way, so that we will build up the Body of Christ. why is morning revival so important to the believers. it is through such a time with the Lord every morning, we are energised and revived by the Lord, so that we can get through the whole day.
