Gifu / Hokke-ji Temple

Hokke-ji Temple (法華寺）in Gifu City,Gifu Prefecture,Japan./Place:Hokkeji Temple is located at the foot of Mt.Dodogamine.Hokkeji is a buddhist temple of the Shingon sckool in Gifu. Thought its formal name is Hokke-ji ,its is more well known by its unofficial name,Mitahora Kobo.It is the fifteen of the Mino Thirty three kannon.The temple was original built in 816,by Kukai under the orderes of Emperor Saga. Kukai's posthmours name " Kobo Daishi ",Giving rise to the Temple's alternate name....../Visit Date:2020.3.9.16;00~16:30pm./
