Usuzumi-Zakura ( 薄墨桜）in Neo Valley.Motosu City.Gifu Prefecture,Japan./ The Usuzumi-Zakura is located to the north of the JR Oogaki Railway Station.The Usuzumi-Zakura is an old cherry tree. " Usuzumi "means " Pale sumi ". Sumi is a the Japanese black ink for calligrapy.and pale sumi is the color like very light gray. This cherry blossoms are light pink in the buds,becames white in full blossoms,and changs to usuzumi color just before the petals fall.The cherry tree about 16.3 meters,the branch spread is 20-26 meters,and the trunk is about 9.9meter around .
