Gifu / Shrine

Gifu Gokoku Shrine ( 岐阜護国神社)/ Gifu Gokoku Shrine is well known for its cherry blossoms in the Spring. Its ukai-zakura is among the earliest blooms in the City and was planted over 100 years ago. The tree trunk's circumference is about 2.5metres and the tree is about 8 metres tall. The cherry trees received their names becaise it is said that their blossoms can indicate the amount of Ayu caught during the upcoming cormorant fishing season.../ Date:2023.3.12.15:00pm~15:40pm./
