数日前・・・わたくしは意を決して三度笠を被り、刀を差して山へ踏み入りました。（三度笠は昔、袋田の滝で購入したものです）
気分は木枯し紋次郎、風来のシレン、そして山に籠って修行する剣術家。

というのも、竹を伐採する序に居合の練習をするためです。
この時期は筍から竹になりかけていて水分を多く含んでいるため、刀を傷めずに刃筋を確認することができます。
それに伐採も楽に進んで一石二鳥。

竹には灰汁が含まれているので、すぐに拭き取らなければなりません。最後は刀剣油を引いてお手入れしましょう。

今日行ったところは龍宮窟です。
久しぶりに行ったら立ち入り禁止用の柵がしてありました。以前は波打ち際まで行って遊べたのに。
「落石の恐れがあるため立ち入り禁止」って。そんなの今に始まったことじゃないですし、洞窟なんてみんなそうでしょうが。なんだかもう、何でもかんでも規制したり禁止したりする風潮は嫌いです。足を踏み入れられる範囲が狭すぎて一気にがっかりしました。
龍宮窟は伊豆の中でも有名な観光スポットなのですよ？それで観光客を集めておいて、狭い範囲に押し込める。
初めて来た人は元々柵がなかったことなど知らないので、この光景を見るだけで満足するでしょうがね。
私は15年以上も前から知っているからこそ落胆が大きいです。
ここにはもう十回以上訪れています。もういいです。行くことはありません。
I gone to Ryugu-Kutsu today.

I have known this spot for more than 15 years. That is why it is so discouraging.
I have visited here more than ten times. That’s enough. I will not be going there again.
別口の階段を昇ると上からこのようなハート形の大きな窪みが見られます。
長い年月をかけて波の浸食で出来た賜物です。カップルのデートスポットには良いじゃないですか？

近くではサンドスキーも出来ますが、昨日の大雨の影響で滑っている人は少なかったです。
湿っていて滑りが悪くスピードが出なさそうですね。
奥の岩場まで歩いていきますと磯遊びも出来ます。ただし、海のゴキブリ、フナムシ天国です。
ゴキブリみたいな動きをしますが、見た目通りダンゴムシやワラジムシ、そして深海にいるダイオウグソクムシの仲間です。
もっと言えば、甲殻類に分類されるのでエビやカニなどの親戚でもあります。
Sand ski areas are nearby. Yesterday it rained heavily, so there were fewer people.
The sand is wet and not slippery. It is seems no speed.
There is a rocky area at the back where you can gather small fish and crabs.
However, there are large numbers of sea cockroaches living there. [sea cockroaches=Funamushi (Japan name)]
It looks similar to pill bug and giant beetle, these are the same species.
Furthermore, they are crustaceans, so they are also in the same species as shrimps and crabs.
