お久しぶりで～～～す(*^^)v
瀬戸の海辺の町ミハラに春の訪れを告げるお祭り「神明祭り」がやってきました。毎年二月の第二・金・土・日に催されます。なんでも室町時代からあったそうでおよそ四百年の歴史のある祭りです。ミハラではこの祭りが済まないと寒さは和らがないと言われていて、今年のようにぽかぽか陽気が続いていても、神明祭りになると寒さがぶり返して来るのです。今年も強い寒気団がやってきています。今日は最終日ですが風も強く身を切るような寒さです。
元来、このお祭りは、近在の農家の方たちが植木を持ち寄って販売するようになったのがきっかけで、その後「達磨」を販売するようになり、神明市とも呼ばれ、植木市と縁起達磨を売るお祭りとして親しまれるようになったそうです。今は、ホームセンターなどで一年中植木は買えるので、かつての植木市の面影は薄れているように思います。今では、食べ物屋さんの露店が通行止めにしたおよそ1.5kmの通りの両側に立ち並び、さながらC級(?)グルメコンペテイションの様相を呈しています。
Prologue
I would like to introduce highlights of my fishing memories when I had been in Malaysia. As the beginning of this memory, I tell you the first episode that I joined a fishing trip of being hosted by the company.
今回は、わたしがマレーシアに滞在しておりました時の釣りの思い出につき数回にわたってご紹介していきたいと思います。 手始めに、わたしが契約しておりました会社主催の釣り旅行に参加しましたのでその時の模様をお話ししましょう。
***** General Information ***** Road Map of Malaysia
While I had been in Malaysia, I generally went fishing by my car. There were three main fishing fields. One is the off shores of Kedah-nearby Alor Setar, and the second one is the off shore of Kuala Terengganu of the east coast. Both places are located 500km away from KL(Kual Lumpur), and it takes 5 hours driving. The third one is the pulau sembiran area, less than 3 hours driving.
Nowaday, it is quite convenience because of full of high-way networks. Almost of traffic flows approx. 130~140km/h though the maximum speed at the highway is regulated to 110km/h. The roads at suburb, it is regulated to 70~90km/h. The speed below 60km/h is only regulated to intercity and residense areas.
釣りに出かけるときは目的地まで車で移動します。 遠い所では、ケダ（アロールスターとバターワースのほぼ中間点）やクアラトレンガヌでＫＬ（クアラ・ルンプール）から５００ｋｍ前後です。 あとひとつは、ルムツと言う港町まで出掛けます。
今では、マレーシアは高速道路網が思った以上に充実しており長距離ドライブにはとても便利です。 高速道路の最高速度は１１０km/hですが、巡航速度は130~140km/hで流れています。マレーシアにもカメラを利用した速度違反取り締まりが実施されていますので、要注意です。日本の場合は当該装置の感度がある程度のマージンを持っているとのことですが、マレーシアの場合はマージンなしです。当該装置が設置してあるポイントが近づくと”カメラマーク”が出てきますので１１０km/h厳守です。 また、日本の場合は市内は４０～５０km/h、郊外でも内地の場合は ５０km/hに制限されていますよね。北海道にでも行かないと６０km/h制限は有り得ませんからね。 車は「走ってナンボ」の世界ですよね。そういう意味では、マレーシアは車の性能をフルに引き出せるところです。

ここでひとつ交通違反の罰金のお話しを； マレーシアでは、交通違反は全て一律ＭＲ３００です。駐車違反も速度違反も駐車違反も全て（３００リンギ＝約￥１０,０００）。 処理する方は楽チンでええですよね。 ですが、罰金を滞納する人が多いので、滞納者を対象に、時々期間限定で罰金納付キャンペーンをやります。その期間に納付すれば罰金の割引があるのですよ！日本では全く考えられませんよね。 これもマレーシアです！！！
物損事故を起こした場合は２４時間以内に当事者が所轄の警察署に出向き事情聴取します。日本のような現場検証はありません。 そこで、それぞれが事故発生当時の模様を供述します。そして、どっちが悪いかは担当警察官（多分課長クラス？）が判定し、罰金もその警察官が決めます。 ですから、もし、自分に非がなければ、その場で処置処理は完了です。＜もし、罰金もその場で払えば無罪放免です。＞
ただし、人身事故の場合は経験がないので分かりませんが、物損事故の様にはいかないでしょう。
EPISODE-1： Kuala Pahang （クアラ・パハン）
We arrived at Kuala Pahan (K.Pahan) before sunrise. The moon and the morning star, Venus, we could see. Beautiful !!!
我々を乗せたバスは目的地である東海岸のクアラ・パハンと言う田舎町に夜明け前（午前４時頃）に到着しました。 まわりにはほとんど明りがなく明けの明星の金星や三日月をしっかりと観ることができました。 こう言うのを「美しい」と言うのでしょうね!(^^)! 因みにマレーシアの日の出は午前７時過ぎで、いきなり明るくなるのですよ！ クアラパハンはＫＬから東へマレー半島を横断したところ、クアンタンの少し下に位置します。
I found chickens grazing on the field and it was a quite common herein Malaysia. It is not only country side but also intercity of KL, especially residence areas.
It is hard to see the scene like this in Japan, isn't it?
鶏が当たり前のように道路バタで遊んでいました。マレーシアでは至極当たり前の光景です。 田舎ばかりでなくＫＬの街中でも見られますよ、特に住宅地区では。 日本ではもう見られなくなった風景ですね。
This is Jack fruit (local name is "Nanka"), one of the famous tropical fruits. You can find anywhere of tropical and semitropical zones.
これは、「ジャックフルーツ」と言う果物です。マレーシアでは「ナンカ」（＝南果）と言います。亜熱帯から熱帯地方で採れます。原産地はインドからバングラディッシュにかけてと言われています。
果肉はオレンジ色で幼児のこぶし大でソラマメの様に並んでいます。独特の甘酸っぱい香りがしますが、柑橘系とは一寸違いますね。 形は楕円形や円柱状で、大きなものでは重さ４０～５０ｋｇくらいにもなるそうですよ！！！
因みにわたしはあまり好きではありません。
ここで小噺をひとつ。
わたし ：「あれはなんですか？」
マレーの友人：「ナンカ!?」
わたし ：「だから、なんですか？と聞いています！（喝）」
マレーの友人：「だから、”ナンカ”、と言うとるじゃん！！（喝、カ~ッツ）」
-- しばし考えて；
わたし ：「アッ、そう！なあ～んだぁ。 ”ナンカ”と言う名前なのかぁ～！！！」
Saya ：”Apa nama?”
Malay Friend ：”Nangka”
Saya ：”Jadi, apakah ia? Saya telah mendengar bahawa!”
Malay Friend ：”Jadi, saya suka "Nangka"!”
Saya ：”Akhir sekali, saya faham. Ia adalah nama yang
mengatakan "Nangka"!!! (Ha,ha,ha)
"Nangka=Apa in Japanese"
These are the members of R&D team. Comapny provided 9 fishing boats for this trip. This was my first fishing trip at Malaysia.
今回の初釣行で初の釣り仲間です。 ボートは全部で９隻！ バスの左のロッジ(?)は休憩所で各チームに割り当てられています。 今回は一泊二日（ボート）ですが着替えや荷物置きなどのために会社が用意してくれたようです。 向かって左端のマレー人（カイロールと言う）が今回の釣行に誘ってくれ、この後、彼にはマレーシアを去るまで釣行のアレンジを願う事に。 日本人だけでは、船の予約等々結構難しいのです。

I got a small fishes (family of Golden threadfin-bream, ”Itoyori” in Japanese).
やっとこさ、お魚クン（イトヨリ）をゲット！ でも、本当はこんなちっちゃいのではないんですけど、、、、、
This is a traditional trap for a fish. Unfortunately, there are no good size of fishes.
これは、 伝統的な集魚籠です。 中に餌を入れて置き一晩～一昼夜海底に沈めておきます。そうすると餌を食べにお魚クンが円錐形になった入り口から入ります。 が、中からは出られないのです。 今回は生憎と小魚君ばかりでした。。。
Fishermen cooked some of fishes for our lunch, fish-curry and deepflied-fish with steamed-rice and watermelon for a desert. I didn't know Malaysian also brought a watermelon when fishing. I've been thinking that it's Japanese only....... Fisherman's lunch is not good visually, but the taste is good!
漁師さんが小魚クンを何匹か調理して私達の昼食を作ってくれました。 マレーシアの場合は、フィッシュカレーが定番で、それに小魚の素揚げ。これらをご飯と一緒に食べます。 結構美味しかったです。
デザートは日本でもお馴染みの「スイカ」です。 日本では夏に舟釣りに行く時には必ずと言っていいほどスイカを持って行きますが、マレーシアもそうだとは思ってもいませんでした。
We challenged to get a marlin by trolling. However, we fault.........
But, we could catch the Sailfish ! I told you the strange story..........
Another boat team hooked the sailfish, but she went into under our boat finally and staying. We held the line and tried to pull the line to let her move. But no moving...... Then, they finally gave up to catch her after a half an hour fighting. He made up his decision to cut off the line at last. They shouted us, "If you get her, she is yours !!" It makes us cheer up !!! We were waiting that she became power down. We finally captured her after more a half an hour. At last, we made a good job !!!
なかなか思ったような釣果が出ないのでトローリングで「カジキ」を狙う事に。 １時間くらいトライしてみましたけど結局、何も掛からずがっかりでした。 ところが、ところが、「芭蕉カジキ」を捕獲することが出来たのです。その顛末をお話ししましょう。
別のボートチームのタックルにこの芭蕉カジキが掛かったのです。 しかし、およそ３０分くらい経った頃カジキは我々のボートの下に潜り込んできたのです。そして動かなくなったのです。 私達は諦めまいとラインを掴みカジキを引っ張り出そうとトライしたのですが、全く動く気配がありません。 とうとう彼らは取り込むのを諦めてラインを切る事を決めました。 そして、「もし、そのカジキを捕獲出来たら、貴方達にあげるよ！」と 叫びました。 それを聴き私達は奮い立ちました。ラインをしっかりと確保し、カジキが弱るのを待ちます。
およそ、３０分後、とうとう捕獲に成功しました！！！ 「やったぜ、ベイビー！」
This sailfish was about 2 years old and 40kg in weight, a fisherman said. Please look at joyful faceｓ of members !!! We shared this sailfish lator.
GOOD MEMORY FOR ME.
この芭蕉カジキはおよそ２歳で４０kgくらいありました。 どうです、みんなの嬉しそうな顏・カオ・かお！！！
もちろん獲物はみんなで分けました。 （後日談：あまり美味しくなかった）
良い思い出になりました。
But, but, Bu~~~t ! Who knows that a devil was waiting !!!
だけど、だけど。 悪魔が待っていようとは知る筈もありませんでした！！！
Look at the horizontal area ! STORM is exactly coming to our area. White zone between the dark sea and the dark clouds is attacked by a terrible heavy rain. It began at night (around 08:00pm) and continued until the early morning. Tremendous heavy rain with strong wind and big wave. It's just like a typhoon......... I could not sleep until the morning, because the boat moved like a leaf in every direction due to strong wind. I passed an anxious night because I was extremely worried whether the boat did not overturn. However, crew and other friends lacked in snoring and slept, in spite of my concern. So that, I understood that the boat might not overturned in this condi-tion.
This was my first experience in my life, so far. And unforgettable memory !!!
水平線を見て下さい！ 嵐が確実にやって来ています。白い部分は土砂降りの雨が降っているのです。そしてそれは夜８時頃に始まり早朝まで続きました。 とてつもない雨と強風そして大荒れの海。まるで台風の中にいるように、小さな釣り船は木の葉のごとく翻弄されています。 もう船がひっくり返らないかと気が気でなく一睡も出来ませんでした。 ところがです。船のクル―や仲間たちは私の心配をよそに大いびきをかいて寝ているではあ～りませんか！！ ビックリです。 と言う事は、この程度の嵐では船は大丈夫ということなんでしょうね。 このような状況は今までに経験した事がなく初めてでした。 でも、良い思い出になりました(^^)v

ーso called "Satsuki-Matsuri"ーand which has been held on May-30 & 31 at ｍｙ hometown. However, I had to support a food stand* of a block association of my residence areas.

初日の土曜日は、午前中はまずまずの天候でしたが午後からは雨模様となり、どうなることか心配してました。
でも、人出も思った以上にあり、用意した「烏賊焼き、焼とうもろこし」は午後４時までに完売出来ホッとしました。
最終日は最高気温３０℃にもなる暑い一日でしたが、前日より多い人出で、この日も午後３時半完売でした。
Therefore, I cannnot introduce the festival in detail, but it probably make you imagine atomos- phere of the festival. The first day was Saturday and it was a fine weather condition in the morning. But, there were many people even it was rain in the afternoon. So that, prepared foods
were sold out by 4pm.
The next day, final day, more people than yesterday and the maximum ambient temperature reached 30℃. Prepared foods were also completely finished by 3:30pm, Wow ~~~＼(^o^)／

I visited to Takehara city with my son on March 14, and which is the famous old town of
Japanese Sake Production. There are still several Sake Brewers.
And Takahara City has been preserving historical residences, shrines, Sake-breweries and
ruins of salt making as the historical heritage.
Therefore, a certain areas are especially called "Little Kyoto"!

The house where the 1st brewer of whiskey in Japan was born.
And this town comes into the limelight now as the town where the founder of the
Nikka whiskey co. ltd. as the first whiskey brewery in Japan was born.
His name is MASATAKA TAKETSURU.
His father was also one of the brewers of Japanese Sake, "Taketsuru Shuzo".
NHK is now presenting the drama of being subjected MASATAKA TAKETSURU.
The drama is going to close at the end of this week.
And also, Japanese traditional doll for a girl, "Hina Ningyo", are displayed at some
of the historical residences. There are many types of Hina Ningyo as shown in the
below pictures.
Generally, the dolls display on the several-tiered platform, five or seven or eight, in
the below pictures. However, it is very toroublesome to take the dolls in and out.
Therefore, today, some of the dolls display on fewer tiered platform to do it easily,
and also depending on a size of a room.
It is not clear yet the root of the name "TAKEHARA". One is said "Plane of Banboo",
and the other is coming from the owner's name "TAKAHARA" who was the adminis-
tartor of the estate of the KYOTO SHIMOGAMO SHRINE during Heian era (AC 8~12).
However, there are shops of banboo products. You can see various kinds of banboo
arts such as toys, bags, dolls and musical instruments etc.
Some of Hina Nyngyo are made by a banboo. It's so cute !

The toy which a man has is named "Sasara Kuruma (wheel)".
It constitutes a banboo-stic with notcheｓ like a saw blade which
has a fin at the end of a stic and banboo-stic.
You rub the right side of notches by the stic with 15 degrees in
an angle and then the fin rotates in clockwise. And when you rub
the left side of notches, the fin rotates in counterclockwise.

Takehara has been prospering
by salt industry from the middle of Edo period.
I will visit Takehara with wife and a daughter sometime in future to get more detail
information. Takehara is an atractive small town, exactly.
Good-bye
I & wife visited to our son and daughter by my own car (Diamante Wgn).
I planed this trip at an opportunity of M-company OB-meeting which was held
at Okazaki in Aichi prefecture.
Son lives in nearby Nagoya city and daughter lives in surburbs of Tokyo, then
we made up our mind to visit Nagoya and Tokyo by Diamante Wgn.
Why could it be a car? Because, daughter asked us to send winter goods (swea-
ters, coats and brancket etc) and some of foods. Then, we used a car.
Last time, in this April, we made round trip from my hometown to Tokyo direct-
ly. However, we stop over at Nagoya, my son's accomodation at this time when
going and returnning.
At this opportunity, we visited a few historical places. One is the place of the
Father of Shogun Tokugawa family (the last Samurai era), it's called "Matsudai
ra-go Villedge. There is a small villedge being surrounded the mountains in the
east of 10km away from the central part of Toyota city.
The other is one of the old-fighting-remains (Kosenjo in Japanese) at where
Hideyoshi Toyotomi had fought with Ieyasu Tokugawa at the end of 16 century.
It is called "Nagakute no Kassen". Ieyasu Tokugawa won this fight.
I herein introduce the pictures of colored trees of these places as a repre-
sentative scene of autumn in Japan. I could still see natures of being covered
with many dark greens though some of trees have turned the color into yellow,
orange and red when I visited.
However, it is also fantastic that the yellow and orange and red stand out
against the background of the dark greens!
Generally, in this time, alomost of deciduous trees fall the leaves down or turn
the color.
