Sengokuhara's silvergrass meadow.

A magnificent view as you climb the walking path!

Frame 2

It was a very windy day.

There was nothing to block the wind, so it was quite tough when the wind was strong.

Frame 3

Oh.

There's a Green Pheasant over there too.

Frame 4

He's so popular!?

If you climb the walking path in the silvergrass grass field in Sengokuhara, Hakone, you can see a magnificent view.

I spotted Kawaii Green Pheasants among the bird shadows in the grass field!

I thought maybe a male and female were a couple, but then...more female pheasants appeared one after another.

It was a flock of Green Pheasants with one popular male and three females.

It was my first time to see so many Green Pheasants properly, and I was happy.

Sengokuhara's Susuki Grass Grassland

In autumn, the golden-colored Susuki grass is a spectacular sight.

In early summer, the fields are covered in beautiful green.

Frame 2

I had lunch at a restaurant across the street, and when I left...

Hmm? What's that?

Frame 3

They are Green Pheasants!

Frame 4

I met Kawaii Green Pheasants!

And then I saw something even more surprising...

Once I left the hiking trail, I arrived at Sengokuhara's Susuki Grassland.

I was overwhelmed by the vastness of the grassland, which was even larger than I had imagined!

At this time of year, the grass is short and spread out after the mountain has been burned.

I was delighted to see Green Pheasants appear there, allowing me to observe them closely.

↓There is a walking path, so I climbed it.

I plan to write about that in the next article.

↓A male Green Pheasant. So flashy!

↓A female Green Pheasant. So Kawaii!

↓There was also a Dusky Thrush.
