"Just Coolin'"was officially recorded on March 8, 1959 at Van Gelder Studios in New Jersey under the direction of Blue Note Records founder Alfred Lion. Although the session was mentioned in the discography, it is a phantom sound source that has never been released into the world for over 60 years.
