Comparing illustrations of ley-line on the Japan Heritage guide map signs that installed at 16 locations,
Thick block arrows with 1.4 km wide are at 9 locations.
Block arrows with different position and size are at 7 locations.

They are hardly lines but band-shaped areas with more than 1 km wide, and seem to be indeterminate in position and size.
The explanation about the ley-line in the Japan Heritage story is full of mystery?

"Three sacred areas lie in a straight line on Ray Lines." (at 40 seconds)
"On a straight line between two places is Ikushimatarusima Shrine" (at 58 seconds)

The positions are manipulated also in the video?
Shinano-kokubunji temple is moved 1200 meters east.
Ikushima-Tarushima shrine is moved 900 meters west.

Misleading representations of Japan Heritage

Any unconfirmed story of Japan Heritage could be illegal?
On the guide map at Ueda station, etc. the location of roads, rivers and ponds is almost accurate.
But the location of Shinano-kokubunji temple which is to the west of the bypass is moved more than 500 meters east, near to the Kangawa river.
The location of Kitamuki-kannon is moved a little southeast.
The positions could be manipulated to look like a straight line?

Is it illegal to pretend unrealistic ley-lines to be realistic for attracting people?

The shadow of the torii-gate near summer solstice

The shadow of the east torii-gate at Ikushima-Tarushima shrine at sunrise 5:03 5:05 5:08 am on June 27, 2022.

The shadow stretched at an angle to the direction of the approach. That meant the sunlight through the east torii-gate couldn't reach to the east gate? It would be the same case at summer solstice.
Could it be said that the sun shines along the direction of the approach?

Could children tell old stories and morden ones apart?
They would accept stories and then would have doubts, might be hurt more deeply than adults who have not believed in stories at all, and might not believe in themselves.

The Shinano Mainichi Shimbun(morning Toshin Jan. 15, 2022 p.26) said "the cultural properties are in a straight line toward the sunrise of the summer solstice" as the meaning of "ley line".
Seeing the locations of the cultural properties as they are, can you see the straight line?
(They had reported without thinking?)
