『もみの木』（もみのき、独語：O Tannenbaum）は、元々はドイツを発祥として世界各国で歌われているクリスマス・キャロルの1曲である。英語(圏)や日本では「O Christmas Tree」の表題や歌詞で知られている。
もみのき(独語：O Tannenbaum)は、ドイツ北部に古来から伝わる民謡にヨハン・アウグスト・ツァルナック（1777年 - 1827年、de）とエルンスト・アンシュッツ（1780年 - 1861年、de）が共同で歌詞を付けたものである。
日本語の訳詞は古くは、野口耽介の訳詩があり、

ドイツ北部に伝わる民謡ですが、歌詞は19世紀になってから新たに作られたものです。
１番はドイツの教育者でドイツ民謡に関する書物も編纂したヨアヒム・アウグスト・ツァルナック（Joachim August Zarnack、1777～1827）、
２・３番はライプツィヒの教員でオルガニストでもあったエルンスト・ゲプハルト・アンシュッツ（Ernst Gebhard Anschutz、1780～1861）によって書かれました。
ツァルナックは、もともとこの歌を、クリスマスソングとしてではなく、恋の歌として書いたようです。
ツァルナックの詞の中では、モミの木は、人間の移り気な情感と引き比べた、変わらぬ愛の比喩として用いられています。
この歌は、クリスマスソングとしても、ドイツ民謡としても、世界で最も広く知られている曲の一つと言えるでしょう。
フランス語圏では「Mon Beau Sapin（わが美しきモミの木）」のタイトルで愛唱されています。
