■ Gracious
The annoying things tend to remain in our memory while the good things can be easily forgotten.
TV, newspapers and internet... They all keep repeating the terrible, sad and irritating news on and on.
Is the world really such an awful place??
So, I've decided to find the heart-warming things in our everyday life.
By sharing such stories, both you and I may spend a bit happier life, eh?
It's such a waste to make our life full of hostilities.
The every moment of our life should be the endless gratitude!
Let's sip a spoon of the hot soup together which warms up our heart and soul!
■ compassion
When I was on the train, I heard a woman's voice from behind.
I turned around and found a young lady saying; "Oops! I'm awfully sorry! I haven't noticed you!!"
She was giving her seat to a pregnant lady and the mother was thanking her for her kindness.
The husband standing by was gently smiling to both.
How beautiful!!
May God bless each one of them!!
■ phone
I saw my grand parents in my dream the other day.
It seemed to me that it was the sign to give them a call.
Both my grandpa and grandma were so excited to hear my voice over the phone.
They were just eating the dinner and my Granma reported me each one of the dishes.
I presented the karaoke machine last time and they have been enjoying singing along.
It is a moment to be a good grand child, but in honest, it is me who is so happy to be in touch with them.
Live a long healthy life!!
■ graciousness
I was about to walk out of the building when I ran into an old lady.
She looked so sophisticated.
The woman bowed and slowly but politely said to me; " I am so sorry, sir."
She was exactly what we call "yamato-nadeshiko", a traditional gracious Japanese lady.
I, too, responded; " I am so sorry, too, ma'am".
I re-appreciated how wonderful the tradition and customs of Japan are.
A simple beautiful phrase can bring such peace and harmony among us.
■ sky
I've been working till late at night these days.
The way back home is very tiring.
I happened to look up the sky when I was climbing up staires.
There were many twinkling stars
It made me realize how beautiful the Tokyo's sky is...
Maybe, I usually look down when I walk on the street thus I didn't notice the beauty of the sky.
Just chin up and try to see the sky.
There you can find the amazing view that will drive away your fatigue.
