What's your favorite Japanese dish?
My favorite Japanese dish is Oden, which is one of the best winter comfort foods.
Oden consists of various ingredients in a simmering oden pot, such as daikon radish chunks, hard-boiled eggs,
konnyaku or devil's tongue root jelly, fish-paste cakes and many others.
All ingredients are stewed together until they absorb the tasty kelp-based soup stock.
I like tender daikon radish chunks the best.
