Famous for Hello Kitty and other cutsy characters,
this shop is decorated to match the surroundings and is only a few minute walk from the Nikko station.

最近東京も蒸し暑いので、
運動も重ねて約二十年ぶりに栃木県の日光にやって来ました。
東京から約2時間、駅を出てすぐ緑の森が見えるのっていいよね。

Since Tokyo has been hot and humid recently,
I decided to come to Nikko in Tochigi prefecture to get some exercise.
Just 2 hours by train from Tokyo, you can see mountains of green forest as soon as you exit the station.

Yesterday, Gene headed off to WILLIAM SHATNER'S to be interviewed by him for his RAW NERVE show on BIO.
"It's a bit disarming to sit with Capt Kirk himself and not be aware of the remarkable iconic brand imagery that is STAR TREK. It was a part of my childhood I will never forget. In some ways, the originals, though not as lavishly produced as later re-incarnations, still had what later versions did not = Shatner and Nimoy. Quality actors and quality scripts. So much so, that to this day, I watch reruns and love them still."
