I am very grateful to Professor Sakamoto and Professor Matsumura accepting me to their laboratory in April 1999. I believe that the time I spend under the superbision of Professor Matsumura as a doctoral student helped me to be more independent, learn how to research and start to ask questions to connect various fields with architecture. I was honored to be a student of Sakamoto & Matsumura laboratory.
During 4 years of doctoral study at the Tokyo University, I was offered precious assistance from many specialists. In this context, I have to mention my 2 years-intern work at Kajima Corporation. I am thankful to Mr. *****, who introduced me to Kajima Corporation and Mr. ******, Mr. *********, Mr. *********, Mrs. ****** for their assistance in my early days of work at Kajima Corporation. I appreciate also the kindness of Mr.****, leader of the Kajima Design Department to contribute his valuable time listening to my presentations and ideas concerning space habitations.
Especially, I am very grateful to Mr. ****** *****, who has been like a father for me and guided me intensively through every step of my research and introduced Japanese construction business and building technology in his busy schedule. Mr. Otsu, the General Manager of Turkish Branch exchanged various ideas with me concerning the future cooperation possibilities between two countries.
Dr. ******** explained me the high-tech construction methods at the Kajima Technical Research Institute and offered research possibilities. Mr. ********, the chief executive of Taiwan Operations guided me through the International Design and Business procedure of Japanese companies during my stay in Taipei with his team; Mr. *****, Mr. ********, Ms. *****, Mr. ****, Mr. ********, Mr. ********* and Mr. *****. Dr. **** introduced me Taiwanese architecture while Mr. ***** opened his house to me for one week. I want to thank Ms. *****, Mr. ** and Ms. ** for their good friendship too.
Prof. *****, from the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of Tokyo offered great help and guidance for space systems and introduced me to various specialists. Prof. ****** widened my view for space architecture and shared his visions offering future research possibilities in his laboratory.
Mr. **** ******* from NASA guided me with his valuable ideas through my thesis and explained the facts about NASA and thier business mentality during the early stages of my thesis. He advised me during my critical decision for the topic and pointed out the research needs for future exploration proposals.

Mr. **** and Mr. ***** ared friends I gained, who will last forever. Ms. ****** ****** supported me spiritually during my studies with her existence.
