After the mandatory break of the security screening staff all four security lanes and the check-in counters reopened. The queues are still long, but Budapest Airport set up cordons to ease the congestion.
Delays and cancellations are expected during the afternoon and the evening. BA asks all passengers to contact their airlines before coming to the airport.
