http://syntheway.com/Chromacycle-Phaser.htm - Chromacycle Phaser is a stereo modulation effect used to filter a signal by creating a series of peaks and troughs in the frequency spectrum, that they vary over time, creating a sweeping or whooshing effect.
The original signal is combined with a copy that is slightly out of phase, by using a dual low-frequency oscillator that modulates a switchable stage to two, four, six and eight serial all-pass filters.
These filters passes all the frequency components at constant gain, but they provide different phase shifts at different frequencies, to reach from a subtle warm phasing, a bubbly rotary effect or watery phase shift with rich vibrations, to an all-out high velocity dramatic swoosh. Suitable effect for guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and even vocals.
Available as plugin in VST and VST3 64 bit versions for Windows as well as in Audio Unit for macOS.


Features:

• Speed: Controls the rate of the phase modulation. Higher values produces a stronger swooshes, highly emphasized phasing sound.
• Depth: Sets the intensity of the phase modulation with a subtle stereo panorama.
• Phase Shift Modulation: Shifts the phase modulation.
• Center Frequency: Sets the center frequency for the all-pass filters.
• Stages: Rotary switch with number of phasing stages. More stages result in more notches, which increases the effect.
- 2 Stage setting is really subtle, more ideal for faint melody and rhythm playing.
- 4 Stage is basically more defined sweeps.
- 6 Stage cuts and sweeps are more intense, though can still be mellowed out by the speed knob.
- 8 Stage is a effect with deep sweeps, even more noticeable by blending a speed value.
• Dry/Wet: sets the balance between the unprocessed (dry) signal and the processed (wet) signal that will be blended.
• Preset Manager: 'Browser' to load and save presets and banks, enabling to export to *.fxp (VST2 Preset), *.fxb (VST2 Bank), *.vstpreset (VST3 Preset), *.aupreset (Audio Unit Preset) plus two generic formats (plain text): the *.xmlpreset (XML Preset) and the *.xmlbank (XML Bank), providing cross-platform presets/banks. This allows to control over the loading and saving of presets from disk as well as sharing presets between different plugin formats using the generic *.xmlpreset (XML Preset) and the *.xmlbank (XML Bank).
• Hint property: Tooltip when the mouse is over a control. This will display a short description of what that control does.
• MIDI automation: Implementation of MIDI Continuous Controller parameters for use with external hardware control via DAW.
• 20 Presets included. Ability to create new and interesting phaser effects.

- VST or VST3 compatible host application 64 bit: These VST (.dll) / VST3 (.vst3) software can be 'plugged in' to any host application that supports VST or VST3 Technology like: Image-Line FL Studio, Steinberg Cubase Pro, Artist and Elements, Steinberg Nuendo, Cakewalk by BandLab, Cockos REAPER, PreSonus Studio One, Acoustica Mixcraft, Ableton Live, MakeMusic Finale, Avid Sibelius, Magix ACID Music Studio, Magix Samplitude Music Studio and Pro X, Cantabile, n-Track Studio, DarkWave Studio, Bitwig, VSTHost, SAVIHost among others.

macOS Requirements:
- Operating System: macOS Sierra, macOS High Sierra, macOS Mojave, macOS Catalina. We do not officially support older systems such as PowerPC or deprecated versions of Mac OS X. However our plugins may work, but we cannot guarantee any performance on such old systems.
- Audio Unit compatible host application. They can be "plugged in" to process audio by applications such as Logic Pro, GarageBand, Ableton Live, REAPER, Studio One Professional, Ardour, MainStage and Digital Performer among others.
